agree on frost. he doesnt have the same motor that jf or tk does. one would think he would want to play harder as the streak continued to drive him forward into flyers lineup. but no, he just plays at a modest pace and doesnt stand out til he gets the puck with some serious room to create. then he comes alive. unfortunately thats only a small part of a 60 minute hockey game. we know he has the skill to handle nhl, just wish he would play w more tenacity and speed. - biggbear77
He was probably able to do that in Juniors just based on his natural talent. He'll adapt, but it hasn't even been a dozen games yet. |

Even though he scored Sunday he played a very uninspired game against the Sound Tigers. - ClaudeFather
Agree, until his final shift of the second period and the entire third period. |

The Flyers have handcuffed themselves with their cap position from making opportunistic deals. - MJL
he's only signed at 900k for one year, that would be as simple as waiving stewart, in addition to the cap space we have now. it could be done. |

Hextall was not hired until July 2013, a month after Morin was drafted. This one is Homers baby. - Djapana
Hated the pick the second it was made. Was at the draft party at Xfinity and walked out when they made the pick. Coatsey saw the look on my face as I was walking out . The place was silent when the pick was made and then lit up when they showed him punching guys. Sigh.
I think Homer put a very good scouting group together but they totally whiffed on that pick. Should have gone Pulock or Domi. Not even hindsight. Most of us were saying that before draft day.
Always felt this pick was reactionary to how terrible the Flyers defense was at the time. |

I hate the Habs the way most Flyers fans hate the Rags.
Pens,Habs <<<<<<<<< everyone else. I think it's their fans I can't stand more than anything. Insufferable.

I used to love him as a fighter, you literally could not hurt him (dude ate like 6 straight Probert uppercuts in the superfight) but lost all respect for him as a player/fighter after the Burt incident. |

Read today that Spezza might be waived when Hyman is activated. Considering the Flyers current lack of depth down the middle he might be worth a claim. He’s on a 1yr deal at 700,000. Waive Morin or Stewart to make room. |

And his only goal this season was scored against us on Saturday! Maybe the key to Spezza's success is making Wells Fargo his home ice |

My comment was a general statement on the Flyers situation and not specific to that deal. There are a good number of teams that are in temporary LTIR situations. It's possible some good players might wind up getting moved at some point. It would be nice to have more flexibility to take advantage of those situations more easily. |

Band aid move at best but I'd rather have Spezza over Stewart who brings next to nothing or Morin who is just issue after issue at this point. Sure, why not. |
