Georgie has zero leverage. I like him, but given our goalie depth, he's pretty expendable at this point. I'm all for giving him more looks, but if he forces a trade and it just means we see Shesty sooner, that's not really a bad thing.

I dont think a 23yo with 50 games played will complain. Besides he has played in half the games so far and started 3 in a row.

I think it will be Shesty forcing the trade. He is doing incredible in Hartford. He has that out clause in his contract. How much longer will he stay in Hartford? I wonder what the Rangers plan is?

Hank is making millions and living in NYC. He is fine with this situation. He ain't going anywhere, unless an offer comes at deadline for him from a playoff team who lost its starter, but I don't see him agreeing to it .

I agree completely. But a few days ago we had a few posts about how untenable a situation this goaltending situation would become. It was a little funny.

In a sense it is. Ideally, we should be playing Georgie and Shesty and figuring out who the guy that we keep. Having Hank play at a high level is a bonus for sure, but the fact we will have to get rid of Georgie so quickly in all likelihood is still a bitter pill to swallow.
