I disagree.
I'm happy to see Tage playing better in the A.
While his production in Roch has been very solid, he needs more time to build his physical play and evolve into a power forward. That transition doesn't happen overnight (20 games).
Last season was a disaster for him in the NHL, as was the year before inSt. Louis...20 games doesn't build enough muscle memory to count on him being the type of player he needs to be in order to be consistent in a power forward role. At 6'6" the expectation is for him to play like big z, just on offense.
Let him bake further.

How about changing the D pairings and get him some guys who can actually transition the puck efficiently and effectively.
Point is, this year they should be testing for best-fit by trying alternative combo's after a period of time.

I like 71 at center. He’s always played better in the middle and crap on the wing. I’m no coach but I’m not sure why they don’t see that.

He has most of his points in a 3 game span, no points in the last 5 or 6 games, hasn't registered a shot on net in 5 of the last 6 games. I think he will be good, but he needs work on his game. Probably cause of his linemates, but he needs to be better.

I think I saw mitts with Johansson and skinner yesterday. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of that

I don’t know what the strength and conditioning staff are doing. Has anyone seen the pictures of Dahlin and Mittelstadt wearing tshirts in Sweden? I try not to be negative about the team, but some of these players look like they have never done a push-up.

For a team that is criticized as being soft it would be nice to see a little muscle mass in the top half of these younger players. It’s not that difficult to get in decent shape, especially at their age when they have the most testosterone they will ever have in their lifetime.

Could work, anything to get him going and a little confidence, and by no means is this all on Casey, the GM and coaching staff don't seem to be helping

Exactly. Make the 2nd line as strong as possible and see what happens.

If botts gets home and doesn’t make some changes. I will be disappointed.

Pegula can’t let botts sit and not make a move. I get that botts is patient but still. You can’t waste another season

Someone phrased it perfectly yesterday. Eichel is playing “hero ball” by trying to do it himself. He doesn’t have the support.

Sam and olofsson arent puck carriers. That is why skinner worked with Eichel so well
