Not to be even harsher, but that was for the first few games. The powerplay is a disaster now and he isn't getting the shot off. There was a bias towards Eichel's side early in the year and he made teams pay. Now they know the shot is coming and don't allow it. He hasn't learned to move around and create his opening yet.

Last I know, he was in the ECHL, but I don't know where he is now. the kid has wheels and can stickhandle, create plays. I don't know why they wouldn't give him a better look, they've kept some real crap in the system for longer.

Right now, he does absolutely nothing.

CJ Smith would probably be better. Thompson undoubtedly would at least give you more offensively 5 on 5. Probably would give some back.

The 7th round pick we'll get when we trade him.

The signs were there and super obvious to anyone who understands how to read basic stats. The numbers were very similar to last year, yet everyone fell for it again.

The sick thing is Botts can say 'we are over .500' until the 20 game mark as an excuse to again do nothing.

Exactly. If the outcome is a fine or suspension, the video will mention his injury as a factor in their decision. Really not sure why you're still arguing this.
