I’ll never understand how these kids in the nhl today let that poop slide. See it all the time in Pittsburgh. Literally Letang,Crosby and Malkin are the three most likely to stick up for someone on that team.

I just dont understand: how the sabres let some guy check your captain awkwardly, and watch the guy stand over him. Taunting him.

We are soft and teams are using that against us. I am all for adding some pieces, but one or two players isn’t going to make the difference. The change needs to happen from within.

We need everyone on the team to commit to strength and conditioning. We have a lot of players that are not in great shape and that has to change. Too many times this year we are the team who looks tired. When you see some of our players in street clothes you can see they aren’t strong.

The word is out that when teams play against us physically, we fold. These players are professional athletes making a lot of money. The least that should be expected of them is to be in the best physical shape possible.

Enough with the kumbaya coaching style. Enough with the sports science philosophy of giving these players rest. We aren’t as well conditioned, we aren’t as strong, and we aren’t as tough as most other teams. We need to get these guys in the weight room, we need to skate them more, we need to toughen them up.

I always look at the Team xG Rates to see how the Sabres are doing. ( besides watching)

And they need to have a lot of shooting practice, looks like we have about 10 guy's that can't hit the net. And they need someone that can drop the gloves when needed, you can't allow a player to cheap shot your best player and then stand over him like that. I give Rhino credit but Cernak needs to answer for that. Until teams see they can't get away with the cheap stuff, they are gonna keep doing it because they no the Sabres won't do anything about it.

It's more of the "toughness" is then twisted to mean goonism, and then mocked as we need guys who can't skate nor shoot, but but can punch people in the face.

The season is officially over when people want face punchers over actual hockey players.
