Everybody new Allen was a work in progress, he was gonna take time to develop, was said to have the highest upside and physical skills of any QB coming out. But needed work. This team should be running the ball a helluva lot more then passing. They upgraded the WR core, good it needed it badly, and Allen has used those upgrades pretty well. This team was built on defense and supposedly running the ball, but don't do enough of it. Dropped balls and stupid penalties have killed more drives then I can count. Lee Smith is a penalty machine and Dawson Knox who I like and really needs to start catching the (frank)ing football are killing us. I don't know if Allen is are Franchise QB, but he has improved, has proven he can drive us down the field and win games. He definitely still needs work, but he isn't getting much help from OC with his game plans or his HC who oversees the whole staff - Buff36
I have no idea if Allen is any good or not, but today was just his 20th start. Can we give him a little time? Some guys take longer. |

You realize that the Bill's 6 wins have come against teams with a combined 3 wins going into the game?
I won 25 bucks today by picking the browns. Bills will lose to the Broncos. Book it. - Mentalorgasm5
Bills didn't pick their schedule nor their opponents. |

I think today's 26 yarder to Beasley on 3rd & 2 is the first one all year. Wasn't a TD, but it baffles me why those aren't called more, you can get a legal pick like the Browns did with Landry and then pick up a huge chunk of yards.
Edit: Also, fire Levi Wallace into the Oort Cloud. He sucks.
I'll hammer Hauschka for missing the 34 yarder, you need to make that, but a 52 on grass? I can't be mad for that, the play calling leading up to that? You bet your ass. - Wetbandit1
I’m honestly trying to remember
When was the last time a Bills RB broke a big TD run? Two years ago when McCoy did against the Jags?
When was the last time a receiver broke a tackle and went for a TD?
They need everything on offense, once again.
Gore looks cooked. Singletary doesn’t get it enough
It’s just crazy |

Josh Allen throws with almost zero anticipation, he doesn't read defenses well.
He's got a big arm and can run.
He's a poor man's cam newton, blame coaches, time outs, and whatever you want.
He's just not that good.

I have no problem giving him more time, let him keep growing, hopefully get a playoff game under his belt. And then you have 89mill dollars to go out improve that O-line, another good WR, maybe a TE depending on Knox , and CB,LB,DE and this team should be ready. Sorry think they need a different OC or McDermott needs to reel him in and this team should be ready to rock. |

It's going to be a defensive battle. I'm excited to see Sutton go against Tre White. |

Okay, that statement doesnt negate my point of how bad they are.
They don't beat good teams. |

What does you winning 25 bucks on Cleveland have anything to do with this discussion? Congrats i guess- spend it wisely..... |

It doesnt take 7th overall picks more than 20 games to prove if they are good or not. If they havent proved theyre good by then, theyre not good. |

Yes bad. They struggled to beat the worst teams in the league. With the remaining schedule they have, they are setting themselves up to miss the playoffs.
Perhaps you dont remember many of their early season success that saw them miss the playoffs during the drought.
The only teams they beat that had wins; The Redskins (1) and the Titans (2), and they needed luck to beat the titans.
If you think the bills are good because they are 6 and 3, I have some delicious tasting poop to sell you at a steal of a price. |

What a disastrous weekend and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
- Dahlin looks lost
- Allen looks like Allen. While I never had much hope for him (guys that weren't great in college rarely suddenly become great at the next level) I think he has been castrated by the over-reaction to the New England loss. I think the only chance for him to be successful in the NFL is to just take the training wheels off and let him let it all hang out. Watching him try to be a game manager is almost unwatchable.
Serious question. Could you name 40 quarterbacks in the league right now (active or hurt) that you would take over him for a season? I think I could. Probably every teams starter other than Goff. After that it is just a matter of thinking of the backups that are better than he is (which probably includes our backup).

These next two against the Dolphins and Broncos are must wins. Lose one of those games and the Bills are in trouble.
I can’t see them beating the Cowboys, Pats, or Ravens and all of a sudden their game in Pittsburgh is mighty interesting. |

I never said they were good. But to call a 6-3 team bad is laughable. |

I’d like a reasonable explanation as to how Baker Mayfield is better |

Agreed.
But if they do win these next two, they'll be, ahem, the absolute, unequivocally, straight out, flat out, downright WORST 8-3 team in the history of football. |
