I’ve heard this mentioned a few times.

Do you suppose the Islanders system of play is less conducive to drawing penalties? Or are the officials all biased Ranger/Leafs/Penguin loving female genitalias? 🤔

The Islanders have had 28 PP's in 16GP, good for fewest in the league. The next fewest PP's in the league is TB.

With 42.

In 15GP.

There's obviously no conspiracy, but something's gotta give sooner than later.

I mean maybe there's something to that. Last year the Isles finished 10th in the "fewest PP opportunities" category with 227 in 82 games. This year they're on pace for 143.5

That's.....absurd. The Leafs got the fewest opportunities last season with 211, for reference.
