Technically you can re-sign Strome(if he continues playing the same this year) and have Chytil be the 3rd line center. He is still only 20. Why rush him into the 2nd line spot when Strome is more than capable right now.
It's a possibility that Strome could be following a Brassard type career path. High draft pick. Early signs of being a bust, and then turns things around with a new organization. He certainly looks pretty damn good to me right now, and we got the guy for Ryan Spooner, which is kind of amazing.

...and then his play drops off a cliff when he hits 30?
If so, trade him in 3 years...if you retain him at all.
Brain cramp, thanks, will update. Know he is "week-to-week" What is the injury, as the generic term is being used for it, - airjan23
I haven't heard, not sure it was ever disclosed. It happened while four on four in the Boston game. The general consensus was he locked legs with one of the Bruins.
The Pens, as with most teams, are fairly secretive with injuries. The exception is they will disclose head injuries, especially concussions. So that is about all we can assume.
Should be a good game tonight. Both teams are playing well. You guys are having a little more success in the points department than we are.
