Terrible decision by Dumo.
Got a point though. - acdc1206
Malkin could have picked up Kakko but decided to coast into the zone instead |

True this
What was Blueger doing on there when they had the Rags hemmed in and Jake was still out there on the ice....?

They had 3 Rangers standing still and Simon threw a bad pass back to Malkin allowing them to change
Lazy backcheck by Malkin on Kakko on the GWG - TheGame316
Pretty sure it was Dumo that pulled the drop pass to Malkin, not Simon. |

My prediction for the next blog... We lost because of not having Phil on the PP. |

Speaking of Kessel... 10 points in 19 games...., but I'm sure RW has a graph that shows goals and assists don't ACTUALLY matter

RW is a Phil fan, so if anything he will show why Kessel is good. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually big fan of Phil and I hate the Pens had to trade him, but I also don't want to keep being reminded. He's not a Penguin anymore, so it's time to move on. |

I don't know that they suck. They had a terrible start, but they're starting to play good hockey. Their defense is definitely suspect, but you look at how good they're playing as of late and Zibanejad isn't even in the lineup. |

I'd love to see the Pens somehow turn Glachenyuk into Toffoli. Maybe not in a direct trade, but somehow. Maybe even Carter, too. |

I don't think Geno would have been able to catch him regardless. |

Whelp, Rossi reporting Sid deciding on sports hernia surgery which would keep him out at least a month. Apparently been playing through it all year.
It's Rossi so who knows. Be a stupid thing to make up. |

I was at the Blues/Yotes game tonight.
Kessel does nothing to create anything on his own. Stays open gets a shot disappears.
Perron puts 100% every shift. Solid player.
Sundquist would be a great 4C with the Pens |

Maybe not, but with his reach, if he is skating hard to get back he might get a stick into the passing lane. Even if it's just for appearances, I would rather have a failed attempt than "controller disconnected." I mean, 2 minutes left in OT, time to sell out and go for it. Isn't he supposed to be "in the best shape of his career" or something like that from all of his awesome summer workout videos / pics / posts? |

Kessel was great here and we won 2 cups.
Perron sucked here other than the first whatever or so games.
Our 4c is good too. |

Fits with what DK reported about seeing a "core" specialist. He should just have it done and get it over with. Hopefully the team can nut up and stay in the playoff conversation while he's out. |

The whole time I was watching that game last night, I was thinking this team would be in better shape with Kessel now that Sid is out. Watching Galch passing when he should be shooting didn't help. |
