They have had some great goaltenders, but a stymie defensive-first team? Nay.

To be crazy optimistic... I actually no longer have any hope for this season, so anything that ends up happening will be a huge bonus.

No more expectations helps in watching these tire fires.

I think Babcock did a really good job when he got here. He built these guys up and got a really young team to over-achieve, in my opinion. But they aren't taking the next step and there are no reasons for them not to. If Babs can't do it, someone else needs to.

I'm really annoyed that it's going to take until 2020 to see the full roster play a single game together.
Although I'll admit most teams go through injury plagued seasons and come out looking better than what the Leafs have shown, it is a factor.

Barzal is definitely joining the Canucks after his next deal.
