i thought it was a bit disappointing that they were never able to deploy any effective adjustments throughout the game. they just couldn't generate anything through the neutral zone and seemed resigned to playing how Columbus wanted them to play. - DoubleDown
Yep. Teams like Columbus are pretty good at that. |

Really loved the Marc Denis analysis of the play.
Danault moving from a scoring position to the middle of the Blue Jackets players made them move and opened up the passing lane for Suzuki to Tatar.
That's the kind of thing you don't see immediately and want an expert pointing out. |

I give credit to Columbus for playing a very tight game, closing the neutral zone, even Julien gave them tons of credit after the game, they played a perfect road game. Habs system is built on speed, if you cut that off, they have to figure out another way, which they did last night mostly because Price gave them that chance. Take the 2pts, learn from it and move on. |

So yo would say that Marc Denis is an expert and not an ''expert''? |

He's quietly making me hopeful for the offensive and powerplay future |

I'm a little bit concerned by Domi's plat lately, very selfish with the puck, missed the net on a low % shot in OT, Mete had to save his ass and take a penalty to prevent a 2 on 0 breakaway |

He's a great passer and with Caufield eventually coming, Suzuki will have his sniper to set up |

He's an excellent analyst, yes.
Even his post game interviews are probably 20 times more natural than Renaud Lavoie's! |

To be honest, I thought he would need some time in Laval. He's proving me wrong |

Caufield listed as a RW but seems he scores alot of his goals on the left side on the PP, wonder where he'll play |

except that they're both right handed and are better suited to play on the left side on the pp |

I don't know if it's the commotion or the disappointment of being cut but Poehling looks dead out there. |

I don't remember the last time I saw a coach take a timeout, every since the video replays, do they still have to keep it? Or with the minor penalty if it's not overruled it changed? |
