This is another game against the league’s best where we should prove ourselves and it’s so far a missed opportunity to show where we rank. We’re staying with the Leafs, Habs and Canes and we should be. What we’ve got to do is pull away from them and show we’re a step above them.

Yes for the first 40 mins of the Boston game the FLyers were the better team.
For the last 20 the Bruins were.

This is what can happen when you play the top teams in the league and for as much as the Caps have controlled this period the Flyers are down by 1 goal.

Lucky to be out of the 1rst only down one. Not skating at all....two periods to get this turned around.

They don’t have Justin Williams anymore. Many of you were willing to pack Petr Mrazek’s bags for him as he was pushed out the door. The Canes had a good season last season. Nobody expected it and surprise teams do surprising things every year. That’s hockey but I don’t view the Carolina Hurricanes as an overly impressive team with an overly impressive roster.

The back to back excuse is lame. Dallas beat us one night after getting beat by Pittsburgh. Do you really believe Dallas is better than us? I don’t.

Once against Boston, Boston gave us a 40 minute head start. Boston is a better team than us, with a track record in recent years improving as much. If Boston shows up and we showed the same kind of strong play, the Flyers make a believer out of me but beating Boston on an off night doesn’t do it for me.
