I think it'll be great if the Hawks can continue to win and give up 40+ shots a night.
Strome Cat Kane line, wow

Good game, Crow was outstanding, The D cleared the crease when they needed to, offense got going, tough place to win. DeHaan and Maatta had good games as well, Seabrook was solid. |

The Hawks played a very good defensive third period. - LAHawk
Not perfect but quite improved. Solid game by Crawford.
De Haan is a rock in his own zone. Zac Smith is slow but in a heavy game he can do some valuable things on the walls. |

Wow most fun I had watching the HAWKS in years .This team is exciting to watch .Crow was unbelievable at times ,HAWKS will need two super goalies with that work load .Stan a genius . Carpenter is solid out there . |

Now if Toews will get going offensively and bring Saad and Nylander along with him - the Hawks might just be pretty good ... providing the Kane line keeps clicking and the goaltending continues to be outstanding. |

Strome Cat Kane line, wow - BetweenTheDots
2 goals, 8 points.
AdB doesn’t have the goals you would expect, but he and Strome have 15 points each in 18 games - lots of assists (10 and 11) - so someone is scoring. |

The Drake is in the concussion protocol, so Nylander will play unless someone comes up from the Rock. [/img] |

After being used as a grinder for so many years by Q, I just don't see Toews using the same offensive instincts he once had. I feel like he needs a playmaker on his line to score with regularity. Saad is too selfish a player once he has the puck. So, do you do what Al C suggested and move Dach up there in place of Nylander? |

Yup, but hopefully Dach replaces 92 on the Toews line. He’s earned it. |

Right now I wouldn’t change any of the lines (especially if Drake is in the dark room). Only thing I might consider is flipping Kubalik and Nylander.

I sure hope so. Makes perfect sense. Nylander with Kampf and Kubalik. Shaw with Carpenter and Smith/Caggiula. |

Why not Dach and Nylander? Dach makes more sense than Kubalik, he’s got elite level skill. |

Keep Dach at center where he is most comfortable. |

I don’t think Dach isn’t playing center right now. He’s not taking the majority of the faceoffs if he is. |

I don’t care what anyone says about SOG or stats or any of that stuff.
You come in to this building against that team(who by the way was extra fired up givin their recent stretch of play)...fall behind 2-0 right away and then score the next 5 goals on way to a 5-3 win. That’s one hell of a win and something that can galvanize the team and spark momentum moving forward.
Our goaltending continues to be elite. The offense has come to life. The Kane line looks unstoppable. The Toews line keeps generating chances. Dach is a fabulous young talent. Murphy comes back soon. Lots of positives. 4-1-1 in our last 6 against solid competition. Creeping towards a playoff position. - SimpleJack
Don't get too excited. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. |

You could be right. The outcome of Gus' travails - and his future travel plan - is connected to the style of play and his usage under Colliton. Whereas I once entertained a mid first round choice as nice renumeration, now I have adjusted my hoped for expectation to a second round choice.
Wiz I have noticed likes to say "think second round" because that is where some good players fall. DeBrincat is an example. I recollect Bolland was a two too (no typo here). Yes #32 overall in 2004.
I do not have reason to complain if Gus yields a #2 . |
