FWIW after dec 1 his salary is only like 750k. he due for a bonus then. so he might become attractive to some teams.

I just hope the Kings owner wakes up and fires Luc and Blake. Said they were going to have a BIG summer. Didn't do anything really. Signed a 35 yr old who hasn't played in the NHL for 5 years a year ago for no reason and now he is a healthy scratch. No team will take him until the trade deadline next year when his contract is up or unless the Kings eat some of the salary.

Did ya'll forget Kovy has a NMC. Why would he waive it to go to Buffalo/MTL/ anywhere with snow in February when he can just hang out on the beach all day.

The one post about a trade to the Pens to play with Malkin for JJ makes me wonder though. The ONLY other place I see him okaying a trade is Miami.
