He got stronger as the game went on which is understandable, I like his offensive game during the pre-season as well. He seemed calmer with the puck. He's definitely an upgrade for the 2nd PP unit. I'd still like to see Myers on that unit though. - Nucker101
imagine not using him on PP2 when you see what PP2 trots out there... Oh Newell |

Before the season started I imagined Edler and Myers on the 2nd unit belting pucks off the blue line with Ferland battling and tipping in the slot... cleaning up rebounds. Hughes on the 1st unit from the get go.

You can bet it wont be until Edler is injured that Newell discovers Myers can produce on the 2nd unit. Who would of thunk? |

It's my brother in laws birthday this saturday but we will be making pizza tomorrow night to celebrate. favorite recipe? - Codes1087
I've got 4 or 5 favorites. My new favorite is Hot Italian Sausage, roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts and red onion. The last time I made it was in the summer and I added figs. |

I imagined Edler off it entirely
I was imagining Myers back there as the point threat with Gaudette, Sven, Ferland and Leivo up front. |

True. Edler is the oppositions best penalty killer. Off it would be better. At least he is only getting a 25 sec PP shift now instead of 90 secs.

Not unless Green thinks he 'earned it' and does 'the little things' that no one else (except for Dragon) sees. |

He made the team with a dynamic hot pre-season. Green cools him off by sitting then sent to Utica back and forth. He should have had a full time gig... but he doesnt kill penalties like LE. |

6 points in 9 NHL games this season playing in the bottom 6, I'm not really sure what else he has to do to play full time over Eriksson. |

I had a thought today. What if Loui promised management to retire at the end of the year if we don’t send him to Utica. Perhaps he knows it’s almost time to hang them up but he wanted one more season to give it a shot. Could also explain why he is getting the odd opportunity despite being trash. Obviously nothing in writing but perhaps they have a gentleman’s agreement |

In the meantime, isn't it fun that Sutter & Beagle are injured again. |

Planting drugs in his bag for when he goes back to Sweden for xmas would also do the trick. It works for LA and Mike Richards. |
