IDK why people expected more scoring, you basically kept the same forwards. Your 4th line (say what you want) but has gone back to playing like they always do (Sh!t). The new coach effect wore off and the same players are doing the same things. They went to the net in the beginning of the season, now they fall into the same routines of shooting from the perimeter. If you put the same garbage back on the ice year after year, you will get the same results. Wake up Botts.

But seriously I keep hearing about how the LOG line leads the NHL in x/GF, but I keep refreshing the sabres stat page and they only have 3 goals between them. Maybe it isn't loading right

As is, it looks bleak. If JB actually acquires a top-6 forward, I think they will.

I'm not going to kid myself and say "wait for Cozens to fix this next year!!!!" like others are doing. We did that with Mitts and Dahlin. Botterill will actually have to do something

I read somewhere that xGF uses the players shot count, but assigns an average conversion factor to arrive at the x ... with all forwards having the same conversion factor, and all defensemen getting the same factor which is lower than the forwards.

Be patient, it takes awhile for the servers to load all their goals, then they have to be computed...it takes awhile.

It's interesting.
Before the season started, I used the very basics of Dom Luszczyszyn's WAR model assumptions, applied it to the Sabres roster and it calculated somewhere around 76 pts. Not included in there was the Krueger Impact...so I guessed and added 4 wins (FYI - an Elite player contributes 3.5 wins individually)...so, it projected 84pts. They are on pace for roughly 96, but declining after their hot start...as an example, if they lose to Carolina that pace drops to 91.

Ralphie-boy could have a larger impact than I guessed, maybe he has already exceeded those 4 wins.
