I see him confident in his skating, passing, and defense, I just think he doesn't trust his shot right now. I should have been more explicit that my confidence issue was related to his shooting. Just my opinion.

Yea I agree with that point. I hope that will eventually find it's way back to his game. I imagine he might be a bit wary of shooting since that was a particularly weak spot for him last season.

I said he could probably use a game to readjust wrt his shooting, but that "I'm not saying trade him or play Hagg for him." So unless there is a better option (and there isn't currently), while he could probably use it (IMHO), I'm not advocating that he should.

Edit: Nevermind.

I know exactly what you said. It didn't make sense then and it still doesn't.

I won't. I see that I have to be entirely explicit in my words otherwise people can pick my entire post apart and twist one phrase into a completely different argument. And I'm just done caring about dealing with that.

Doubling down with inaccuracies of what actually went on in the conversation is not going to change anything. It's really not a big deal just a difference of opinion.

Strong game last night. For me a very strong indicator if we are on the right track is how we come back and play against Sens. If we play our game, we will by 2-3 goals. Last year we would have played down to their level.

Come out to a better first and who knows? They might take the 2 points.

Biggest takeaway is the PK. Last season a game like last night could have gotten ugly. Even though they only took 3 penalties. One was in the first after they had gone up 1 and thought "great here we go". Kudos to the PKers.

No doubt. That game could've easily snowballed in the wrong direction.

It was really nice to see them ounce back and get back in the game. Looked like a potential blowout early. Just not happy with the start. They were not prepared for the pace and the pressure that the Caps played with from the opening puck drop.

Welcome to my word. I understand I’m not the most articulate but even when my posts are crystal clear, my words are still twisted.

took my 11 year old to his lesson today, came out and there was Adam Oates.

Adam looked at Christian and said "hey you were the kid pooping in the bathroom earlier"...

Provorov needs a new lie or something. He constantly fumbles/oveskates the puck when it gets to the toe of his blade.

I noticed that too - especially when he's behind the net initiating a breakout. But then when in motion he seems to have good control and touch again

This doesnt sound good, just read it in the Pens blog....

"Flames reporting that TJ Brodie collapsed at practice and started convulsing on the ice. He was just standing by himself when it happened. Apparently he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance."

i saw an interview where Ghost said he hasn't had the shooting lanes (paraphrasing)
- nastyflyergirl

Yeah, that center point shot is tough to get through. So many bodies. I'd love to see them move Ghost to the right side, to basically do what OV does for the Caps on the left side.

They definitely need someone on PP1 that can shoot besides G. Having any combo of Coots - Jake - Hayes - JVR out there is not scaring any goaltenders. I'd prefer to see Ghost back with PP1, instead of Provy, and as someone suggested posting him up on the right dot occasionally for one timers, or even just to give the pk's a different look. Yes I understand JVR's purpose is to sit in front of the net and not to be a sniper, was just trying to make a point that he doesn't scare anyone with his shot, along with the others I mentioned.

What doesn't make sense about Ghost taking a game off to re-adjust? Isn't it you who said that Hakstol knew what he was doing by sitting our younger players here and there, that it actually helped their development?

Or are you saying something else entirely didn't make sense?

Congrats, your kid will never poop in a public restroom ever again.
