A heroic effort by the Jets tonight on a night where there were even bigger heroes were in attendance. Hardly a dry eye in the place pre-faceoff.
I can't stress enough just how tough it is on the remaining four defensemen to play at that level of hockey for a full 25 minutes. Certainly, the refs didn't help things in the second with that ridiculous call on the first penalty.
Might finally see Niku called up if Morrissey and Beaulieu are out for more than a game or two.
