Half the board turns on him, commencing endless flame wars between those who think the lack of a surrounding cast is the problem, or whether he's the problem

I lived through the great ROR flamewars of 2017 and '18 and have no desire to do so again.

I believe that's where we're heading, and it's a fruitless path

One of the worst days of my life was when I was about 11 and asked Gretz for an autograph at the airport in Canada and he basically told me to go f my self. They’re mostly douches. Some are exceptions including ROR. Met him here in stl many times. Nice guy. Down to earth

These last few weeks though I couldn’t even make a excuse to justify his play.

He will figure it out though.

I think you need a certain type of player to play with eichel. Someone that goes to the net and let's him do the work. A talented line mate would help.

Also a reason why he doesn’t have a letter and wasn’t thrown into a leadership role. We don’t have a Toews, Keith, Seabrook, Hossa, Ladd though and I’m sure I’m leaving someone out here.
