I could only imagine what he is feeling emotionally right now. However you can’t mope around and show it as often as he does.

People have been ragging on Eichel even the last few years, I never understood it.

These last few weeks though I couldn’t even make a excuse to justify his play.

He will figure it out though.

One of the worst days of my life was when I was about 11 and asked Gretz for an autograph at the airport in Canada and he basically told me to go f my self. They’re mostly douches. Some are exceptions including ROR. Met him here in stl many times. Nice guy. Down to earth

That goals on Hutton, nobody else. can’t give up a goal from 30 feet out from an angle, unscreened. A good shot by Hamilton but if Hutton was square the puck hits him.

Looking at the replay, I have no idea how the refs don’t call a penalty on Carolina on their last PP when Girgenson got hauled down in the corner.
No call and Carolina score 10 seconds later. I’m guessing that’s why the Sabres bench was going nuts.

Fancy stats said that the Canes should of scored 1.8 expected goals tonight. Our goalie gave up 5.

The expected goals stat is far from reliable.

Eichel has been a big part of the problem for years.

Used to work Amtrak in and out of buffalo and have had many conversations with refs traveling in and out and they pretty much unanimously seem to think eichels maturity level is a big big problem.

They should focus more on calling blindingly obvious (frank)ing penalties.

I’ve said it multiple times. We lost 2x. namr another “elite” forward in the NHL who played with worse players than Eichel besides Crosby (which is why he is the best player of this generation)

Yup and I agree that the helmet was used as a weapon. Suspend him for the year or more. Even players on twitter are mad about it

Lazar with a goal, 2 shots, 2 hits, 2 blocked shots in 8:47 of ice time - the lowest on the team. And he was hustled all night.

Okposo 0's across the board except 2 PIM in 9 minutes on the ice.

It's not a team changing decision but if Botterill wants to send these snowflakes a message, keep Lazar and dump Okposo to Rochester. While he's at it, call TT up and drop one of Girgs, Larsson or Vesey to Rochester.

And do something with the D-situation to get us needed help.

ON a positive note, i did like the fight in them in the late 2nd and 3rd period. Too bad we couldn;t get a save in O/T and get the second point.
