Indeed he did.
One has to wonder if Holland is going to extend him. Personally I’d be okay with keeping Kassian for another 3 years, provided his deal didn’t go over 4 per. |

But what about that dream goalie tandem? About Smith and Koskinen i read here just when they -rarely(!)- suck...
But Flameshell, i must admit not drafting L50n at #8 in HBEfl was so inexcusable _insertyourself_ (...at least i drafted him in 3 other leagues)... funnily even Schweiny drafted Seguin over him. |

Felt like a safe gamble. Draisaitl was available in the first 5 picks of the 2nd round in about 95% of the mock drafts I participated in. |

Few had faith that he’d duplicate last seasons success I suppose. I had my doubts too, figured he’d score between 80-90 points. |

Should we ask Leaf fans if they would rather have Tavares/Matthews or McDavid/Draisaitl |

No no no no no
We need to learn from the Maroon situation. Wingers who thrive on McDrai's wing aren't vital pieces and should be offered dollars reflective of that. Offer him 2-2.5mil for 2 years and if he won't take that, he can hit the road and try his luck like Maroon did- likely ending up on another team's 4th line. Or he can stay, still make solid money and enjoy the ride of playing alongside two of the league's top players for as long as he can. |

I don’t think 3 years @ 3.75 is an unreasonable contract for what Kassian brings. |
