I wish they’d fire Babcock, then in January we could listen to Roger #fireKeefe when the team still continues to lose.

My question is, will a new coach be able to curtail the partying and light a fire under their asses. Calgary sat JG to knock some sense into him.

It does?

I'm trying to figure out how to maximize yield on my investments. Not seeing how it helps.

If it refers to Cherry... not sure how me talking about his demise would be considered beneficial marketing. Do I need to pay a royalty?

- bloatedmosquito

I would suggest - in order to maximize your yield you refrain from obtuse, waste of time protracted infantile arguments.

Focus your attention on penny stocks - and keep it simple. Limit your liability - keep it within a scope you can comprehend.

if you can't get your head around Cherry being more marketable going forward than he is now... we'll just have to agree to disagree

that's WTF I'm talking about

He has been pounding the wear a poppy for a long as I can remember...People just do not want to hear it what he had to say and for the most part he is not wrong...Could he have articulated his point better..Yes.. Should he have been fired in my opinion...No... Did Rogers have a knee jerk reaction based on no moral basis but strictly on a financial one..Yes.. Did Rogers have the right to fire him..Yes...

His age is definitely catching up with him.. Did you watch the Fox interview.. It was like he could not follow conversation..

Also I thought it was hilarious that the next day after Tim and Sid show there was a host of the next show on the radio and what blurted out of his mouth when talking about the listeners.."You People" and what was said about it...Nothing

- Azuredoom

The one chick on The social said you people like 5 times while criticizing him as well.

WTF are you talking about?

Why do you think he got fired? Justin called it in? Thousands of new Canadians were offended? Sportsnet protecting their moral foundation? Quebec?

The big sponsors called it in and said enough is enough. Can't be associated with this. Not now. So it was done. Those same sponsors aren't going to turn around and start paying him now that he's off-air.

He'll always have an audience, but it's over as far as brand marketability. He'll be dead before it's repaired.

(frank) I'm talking about him now.

His funeral will be enormous in terms of crowds.

I'm asking you to help me get my head around it. Blanket statements without some sort of example or rational is hard to understand.

Will the next generation even find him relevant?

I'm not excusing the players... but kinda tough for the coach(es) to get the players attention in a meaningful manner when they've just signed a contract north of 50M$...

It’s not the coach,( well, it could be, but not at the moment - imo ) I still think they make the playoffs and if we make a move or 2 who knows what can happen.

Coaching is playing a factor I think to some extent. Our PP and PK are brutal. Guys can't seem to stick with the game plan at all for extended periods of play. Sometimes simple plans are better and it has sounded like Babs strategies are complicated.

I think too injuries where we have not had our full lineup yet have played a big part, and we had a lot of turnover this offseason too. Not sure everyone is really in sync at all.

I think we get the playoffs but I don't know, we keep losing all the back to back points here that could get dicey too. We need a backup that can swipe us some freakin points here.

Meh. So what if he did. There's nothing wrong with asking immigrants to buy and wear poppies to support the vets and families that have vets who died for the freedom they left their country and came here to have.
- aminnes

So you want your business to have your employees use your business that bends over backwards to please your customers as a platform for telling immigrants to wear poppies?

I really hope you never get into business.
