I keep dubas over Babcock all day. The problem isn't in the roster that's been assembled, the problem is the prehistoric predictable coach running it like it's 2007.

Even though my last post is laughing at something involving Svechnikov, I like him more than Larkin.

And he's on a better team.

I was the one trading Larkin and the trade was made and accepted. I think I made out like a bandit, but I just wanted another opinion. I think Svechnikov is a better player straight up and has more keeper value in my league. I can’t believe I pulled this off.

Now, babs is to blame for this soft inconsistent low effort team.
I agree babs is stubborn and is foolish not for trying new things.

I could give a (frank) about the fancy stats. I like the roster he's assembled, I respect the hoops he jumped through to assemble it. And I hate watching this coach donkey it up every night.

The rest of the league watched Cassidy take him to a coaching clinic for a playoff series, the book is out on Babs.

Colorado can't even pull the goalie because their 1st and 2nd string goalies are hurt. If they end up putting the 4th string guy in, McJesus might beat Sittler's single game point record.

I appreciate your point of view. I dislike a lot of the roster that he's assembled. Not all, but a lot. I don't like his philosophy on roster construction. I really dislike his tactics at negotiating with RFAs. I very much like his drafting philosophy though.

I hope we both end up happy seeing a Leafs Stanley Cup parade in the very near future.
