agree but 88 ain't to bad - bogiedoc
Yes 88 has a very good one too.
Great players know it is a useful skill set. And goalies have difficulty with them. |

I agree Rick but so many don't, for our goaltenders it's easy save after easy save - BetweenTheDots
Maybe 10 to 20 players in the league have one |

Idk, I see him coming over here.
Don't need Saad taking dumb penalties at the end of the period. - I Am The Breadman
I don’t think it was Saad committing that penalty... the defender held his stick and then went down. I don’t agree with that call. |

Good, but busier than a one-legged man at an ass-kicking contest. |

Amazing how whoever plays with Kampf on the third line, that line carry’s the play.

Fantastic weathering the storm through the first half of the first period... something has changed... if we can tighten it up defensively I think we have something here.. lehner has been unbelievable... hoping we can keep them...
Shaw to Maata... Kampf a thing of beauty....
Rinne... how’s that easy shut out...
Waiting for Paul McCann to start shooting his mouth off
Let’s go Hawks!!! |

Turning point in the season if we can finish this properly. The team confidence will be boiling over. After the change in scheme/tactics our team has hit a new gear. Gus, 88, 19, Crow, etc starting to finally play at last years level and add to what we’ve seen all along from the new pieces(Dach, de Haan, Lehner, Kubalik, etc).
Mad props to JC for recognizing his faults in the system he was using to start the year and correcting it without being stubborn. |

That’s pretty much how it always is... only 6-7 people who regularly post there. They are actually pretty decent Pred fans - not representative of the d-bag Bridgestone mouth breathers. |

Maatta is sneaky good offensively. Not going to drive the play, but he creates a lot of scoring chances. |

If Hawks can get the Toews line scoring 5 on 5 this team could go on a nice run here.
Really wouldn’t mind seeming Sikura up with Dach and Carpenter.
Preds show no respect for the Hawks ability to transition. Routinely have 2-3 guys down low in the ozone. In there own Dzone too. 2 forwards fly the zone a lot. On the Kubalik goal. 3 Preds were at center ice already with the puck still down low and the Hawks forechecking.
Put 2 more on these turds in the 3rd. Keep the trolls away for a while. |

Hahaha, good to hear, I guess.
After watching some replay, I agree on the crap penalty. Still gotta kill it though. |

another (frank) rinne...beauty...
probably his easiest 4-0 half a game ever... - bogiedoc
If Rinne's celebrated remark helped inspire the Hawks effort tonight, that's great!
But viewed objectively, Rinne was merely stating an obvious fact. He did not say or imply anything that was not said or implied by the critics on this board following the game in question. |

Definitely.
But every NHL player has to be able to do something with the puck on his backhand, especially defenceman who flip the biscuit to their partner while turning and being forechecked. It's like a golfer who has all the little shots in his bag. |
