I think that's a bit extreme. He performed marginally better than Hughes and benefited from who he was playing with. If Petey had a big night you very well might be saying the total opposite. - NorthNuck
I don't look at the scoresheet or stats, when I form an opinion. Makar played well, winning several board battles, moved the puck well all game, and other than the 1 puck watching episode, that Bieksa pointed out, had a good defensive game.
Quinn did have a decent game, but lost a few board battles, made some bad passes and wasn't even the Canucks best defenseman on the ice, Edler was.

Is it me or did Demko let in every goal on the short side? - Shuswap Wap
Scouting report says weak blocker and the Av's exploited it. |

Yeah I really don't see why you wouldn't put JV out there for 3 on 3 given his ability to blow by defenders - NorthNuck

I always felt they were going to tie it last night even late in the game. It was a good battle and entertaining.
Even though the team is in a soft funk right now there are a lot of positives . |

Never had that feeling lol...turned it off at the Av's 4th goal guess I should have kept watching. Positives for sure though. When is Horvat gonna score at home??
Decided to watch Lone Wolf McQuade instead some Chuck Norris cheese |

I don't want to start a 13 page debate but but I do feel he will eventually be a number 3 center. I don't like his no hit game and I don't find him creative with the puck.
If Gaudette can bring what he brought last night consistently then Canucks may have found a nugget from their ass. 8 Pts in 11 games is fine by me. He was also the standout in the preseason. Green has got to now give him a chance to prove he belongs.
I have also been impressed with Jake this year over all. I do think it is time to look at a coaching change. Green is a little over his head. |

Agreed.
It is nice having players who can play an entertaining brand of hockey, along with some physicality.
Miller and Hughes have been nice additions so far.
Some centre depth in the organization is needed, along with more Miller types, hopefully Podkolzin can fit in like that, down the road. |

Cannucks can use another skilled forward . The closest thing on the farm is Goldy and a distant second Jasek. Goldy is hustling in Utica
I would not be shocked to see him get the shoulder tap if he keeps playing consistently as he has been playing.
It is going to be interesting to see the final roster when the year ends to see who will be part of this team. |

Ya Bo needs to toughen up said it before.
Gaudette has supplanted Sutter but can he do the same to Bo? If he keeps scoring he just might lol
Jake is what Jake is...15-20 goal guy.
Nothing will happen to Green until next season. See where it goes but he does make some head-scratchers to be sure. |

A buddy of mine wanted to bet me on that game yesterday, said Crosby is out, he'll take the Leafs. I told him I wonder why I hang around with you sometimes. |

Him and Leivo looked good together. Try it again next game and find them a winger. |

Good try something. Schedule over the next 10 games looks brutal. We might beat the Leafs and Sens and that's it lol |
