I think that's a bit extreme. He performed marginally better than Hughes and benefited from who he was playing with. If Petey had a big night you very well might be saying the total opposite.

I always felt they were going to tie it last night even late in the game. It was a good battle and entertaining.

Even though the team is in a soft funk right now there are a lot of positives .

I don't want to start a 13 page debate but but I do feel he will eventually be a number 3 center. I don't like his no hit game and I don't find him creative with the puck.

If Gaudette can bring what he brought last night consistently then Canucks may have found a nugget from their ass. 8 Pts in 11 games is fine by me. He was also the standout in the preseason. Green has got to now give him a chance to prove he belongs.

I have also been impressed with Jake this year over all. I do think it is time to look at a coaching change. Green is a little over his head.

It is nice having players who can play an entertaining brand of hockey, along with some physicality.
Miller and Hughes have been nice additions so far.
Some centre depth in the organization is needed, along with more Miller types, hopefully Podkolzin can fit in like that, down the road.

Cannucks can use another skilled forward . The closest thing on the farm is Goldy and a distant second Jasek. Goldy is hustling in Utica

I would not be shocked to see him get the shoulder tap if he keeps playing consistently as he has been playing.

It is going to be interesting to see the final roster when the year ends to see who will be part of this team.
