Can the boys at least win one more game this season? The tanking has started earlier this season. It seems like it is the same broken record, make it to the top of the of the league and then fade fast. There are a lot of good draft picks this year so keep on tanking.

Why do the Bruins constantly go 100% and the Sabres seem somewhat fragile on that count?

What's with all the asterisks? It's way easier to just type the word that gets censored anyway.

Also, this take is even worse than the "you'll piss it out" one.

Scandella for a 4th, call up Pilut.

Baby steps.

Maybe by the deadline we can swing Risto for. Forward.

Risto for a forward.

I’ve been Botts’ biggest supporter but even those two moves I can’t condone him for not making yet.

Sabres50 Date: November 15th, 2019.
The Sabres 50th Edition team finds itself tied for 18th, with a 9-6-3 record producing 21 points in 18 games. This after starting 8-1-1 to land in 1st place after just ten games into the season. To put it into perspective, the team earned 17 points in 10 games, while producing on 4 in the next 8.

Once again, for the second straight season, the team played very well for ten games, only to go into a free fall as one of the worst teams in the league. In the previous season, they managed to finish 27th of 31 teams. In the current season, they now have a full 45 day head start on the free fall, and could find themselves finishing lower, and thereby earning a higher draft selection in a draft year that is steeped with high-end talent early in the draft. It will be a tough challenge, but given recent play, it seems the roster is optimized for achieving the dubious distinction of picking in the top 5 once again!

When asked about his position on the team's status, GM Jason Botterill stated that the management team us still evaluating what they have on the roster under new Head Coach Ralph Krueger. This after the team scored 50 goals less than the average of the bottom three playoff teams in their conference in the last season. The evaluation period seems extended beyond reasonable rationalization.

Meanwhile, fans of the team are beginning their desension of support for the team as it continues to struggle in this the ninth year of non-playoff caliber play.

More to come, or maybe better said; less to come.

It's a no-lose scenario (his favorite word) for him.

Tim Murray still gets the blame while he fiddles with his 12 defensemen. Meanwhile the forwards are worse than 3 years ago

Scandella for a 3rd
Risto straight up for AA

We’ll need someone to up the toughness quotient though. Would love to see Jack fight just once. I know boxing is a pet if his workout in the summer. McDavid got in a fight and a long time ago Perreault did, knocked a guy out with one punch and nobody (frank)ed with him ever again

Evander Kane has 12 goals and 18 points through 18 games. However PP goals, SH goals, and assists don’t count

Other than Rudolph hitting Garrett with his helmet there's no reason for Garrett to hit Rudolph with his. That's an immense escalation. If he just pulled him off the ground by his facemask, ripped the helmet off and then spiked it, ok, a bit of an overreaction, but trying and (partly) succeeding in braining someone with a helmet is inexcusable.

Even James Harrison thought it was excessive, and he was barely a notch below Burfict.
