I don’t care if you’re coming off a back to back, you simply cannot give up a 3 goal lead at home.
- Sublime55

Did you see how gassed they were. 3 out of 4. Less than a 24 hour turnaround into tonight’s game with travel.

I don’t care how it went down. They got a point

giroux is a disgrace to this team
- 2Real

Do you ever stop with this $hit? What is disgraceful is the constant bashing of an outstanding hockey player. Giroux is one of the best players this franchise has ever had.

blow a 3 goal lead with 12 mins left on home ice, last night can't erase a 1 goal deficit closing the game with a 4 minute power play against an NHL bottom feeder. The last two nights they have pissed away everything they did the last 10 days.

(frank)ing absurd. Real quality effort in the shootout. (frank)ing embarrassing.

- PLindbergh31

Never been a member of team negative but I have to agree here. Absolute disaster of a weekend. Cannot under any circumstance blow a 3 goal lead with 12 minutes left. This team has not changed from last year and the year before and the year before that.

Way too early in the season to be getting any decent value in a significant deal imo.

I think if any of the vets spend much longer struggling Fletch will absolutely be looking to move some contracts this summer.

I’m just pissed and talking out my ass. Don’t pay any attention to me.

That one hurts. Inexcusable way to lose a game. Self destructed. Losing games because of mental errors like those is tough.

Again they lose a lead in the 3rd and lose in the shootout. How much longer do we suffer with this crap. Out worked constantly. Konecny...what can you say other than dimwit. Shoot the freakin puck. Listening to the postgame show, "what went wrong" ??? Its simple...the real Flyers are showing up. Again JJ providing excuse after excuse...tired, back to back. Blah blah blah..the Islander s have them too. No more excuses JJ

Being happy about a point when you are up 3-0 in the third is absolutely pathetic.

Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and (frank) the prom queen.

I’m from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I come from a huge family filled with Leafs fans. Hockey is basically all the Toronto area has. They’re very passionate about the sport and their team and nothing else. After Philly, Detroit and Toronto are the teams I would say I see the most of.

So you tell me exactly how many Leafs games you sit and watch on your own and with friends and family pre season.

- SuperSchennBros

My hockey team is filled of Leaf fans, we watch the games after our games all the time. Leaf fans are the last people to trust with their team. They are more fickle Flyer fans. The only player they dont hate on constantly is Matthews. One year MArner and Nylander are the greatest thing and then the next they want them traded. Then they perform again and everything is good, they hold out for money and they want them traded again and y the time season rolls around everything is forgotten about.

Why was Myers scratched? Braun should be - hes been a disaster last dozen games

Also wouldn't be shocked if Babcock gets fired

This team negative poop is a joke. There isn't a fan base in the league that would accept blowing a game like that on home ice. Especially after the poopshow last night.

It is not pathetic at all when you consider the expectations of this team. They are not a contender and they are notorious for slow starts to the season. It is upsetting but lets not kid ourself with the team we have. We all knew best case scenario we are a 3rd place metro team that could maybe win 1 round.

I gotcha, but you have to bring a 3 0 third period lead In Your rink home.

There are some guys that just aren’t buying in. Leaders are supposed to lead, they are actually the biggest culprits on this team. I’m hoping it doesn’t take until the summer to move one of these contracts out.

Sanheim and Ghost struggle pretty regularly and Myers comes out for Hagg. Really weird choice. Sanheim struggled this game.

The Islanders have points in 14 of the last 15 games and are not contenders. There is a such thing as exceeding expectations. The fact so many fans are just accepting of dogpoop is mind boggling.

I guess they have their reason for sitting Myers but I agree he wouldn’t have been my first choice to sit.

Hayes pointless in 10 straight games on pace for 29 points. He's been totally underwhelming thus far. Like ridiculously awful.

I think this team has changed for the better, especially on the backend and in goal, but it’s clear they still haven’t shed some of the bad habits from last year....this team is still a work in progress.

Leafs fans don’t want Marner trades, I promise you that. They want Nylander traded because he held out for too much and playing like poop, which is reasonable.

I don’t know what else to tell you, man. Leafs management didn’t want Gardiner anymore. Fans didn’t want him anymore. It took Gardiner until mid summer to sign with a team. Jake Gardiner currently isn’t having a good season. Smells like a recipe for not a very good player to me and this is without me telling you I’ve watched a lot of Gardiner as a leaf to know he wasn’t very good. The leafs defense would be bad with or without Gardiner.

There is no shame in expecting excellence and not accepting failure. Year after year this goes on. My god, they are being outworked. I understand that the Leafs haven't won since the 60's.
