Yeah he's been good so far. I haven't had an issue with him at all. He's a professional coach. Stewart shouldn't be on the roster, but that's not on AV.

That is what people said last season and they lost to Carolina in round 2. Isles have one of the best coaches in the league, they have players that hustle. Effort beat skill. It doesnt matter how good you are, if the effort is not there the hard working guy is going to play better than the lazy player. Blowing the lead shouldnt happen but it does. We shouldnt lose to teams like Ottawa but it happens to all teams. Look at Tampa, they are playing like garbage despite being the best team last season. They are going to snap out of it eventually as will the Flyers. The only thing that matters is that we are getting points. Remember 2 years ago we lost 10 games straight and made the playoffs bevause we lost most the games in extra time and gained points.

Most teams in the NHL have more talent than the Isles and they outwork every team. It is all Trotz. This Islander team was not a playoff team until he arrived. That is what an elite coach does. AV is a good coach but he isnt elite.

Yeah, they've allowed the fewest goals in the league and it's not even close. They're playing extremely well.

Coach rolled 3 lines for a good chunk of last night. No wonder the team was gassed in final 30 minutes. Totally outplayed 2 half of game. Dumb mistakes too made with fatigue. I wont blame it all on the BtB games but it sure appeared they had lead skates in 3rd period and OT. Only good shift was when Taryn was talking for 4 minutes. Not a fan of sitting Myers. Sit Braun or Ghost or Voracek if you want ro send a message.Where was the time out in the 3rd to give the team a rest? Were sure playing like needed.

Moose's 5 hole was ope for bidness and the Isles obliged.
