Um, score first.

Well, if it were that easy, it would have happened by now.

I never said it was easy. You have a better chance of winning if you score first rather than burning a rabbits foot or any other voo doo that you do.

Getting behind 2-0 hasn't worked, I just thought a different approach might work.

Pens need a donnybrook. Don’t be the guy not to be thrown out.

But I distinctly remember being told in early October that Tanev was the second coming of Bobby Clarke and how dare anyone question his contract!?!?!?!
- Za Warudo

I don't think anybody ever thought he was going to score a ton. Rutherford wanted a top flight "energy guy" and paid him a premium. I think he's been great actually. I'd like to see him get some shifts with players that can score a little. I love players that win puck battles/opens up space for skilled players.

Tanev’s contract is directly related to why pucks aren’t going in the net right now. A million less and 3 years shorter and the 9.5 million player would have hard a hatty last game.

Galch got a pretty good handle on that bouncy flip floppy puck to get it to the net that well.

Bitta skill.

Wow. Galchenyuk with full skills on display. First he takes a good angle so the P.K. gets neutered when they had the puck. Then he feeds Malkin with a nasty pass where people said repeatedly he shouldn’t be playing. Then he gets a ton of wood on that bouncing puck to setup Guentzel. 3 different skilled plays, all very effective. Good thing we’re over him and his lack of skill 🤪

Awesome support down low by Rust. Good to see him back on the scoresheet

Scoring the first goal. Scoring on the PP. Scoring on a rebound.

Who are these guys and what have they done with the real Penguins.

Definitely. He’s always going to make some plays that just don’t quite connect but his positioning and effort can’t be questioned. A couple bad passes but also some perfect ones like the one at the end to Geno

Watching Ron on HNIC without Grapes. Apparently Ron was able to stay on HNIC because he was willing to come clean and apologize and Don was given that opportunity but elected to stick with what he said and he reiterated it again in a public statement: no matter where you’re from you should support the troops who have allowed us our freedoms

I’ve always liked Ron but man he’s taking a ton of heat in Canada right now

Hoping to hear Elliott Friedman and the guys during the 2nd intermission as we all live for the NHL scuttlebutt

Kahuuuuuun as advertised! Quick release through an awesome screen. I talked about this yesterday though: the key to getting traffic in front is controlling the puck. You can’t be in the corners digging up pucks and in front of the net at the same time, it has to develop

Let’s give some love to Marino too. Poised at the point with that puck, delays a bit for his teammates and makes a nice pass to Kahun

The Big Kahuna

What a brutal goal for the Leafs to let in haha I was on the phone with one of my best buds, who's a diehard Leafs fan, and he knows I don't want to be talking to him with the game on but he wouldnt let me go as the period started.. then Pens score and he hangs up hahaha

I'm not that shocked .. not that this is anywhere close to being over...but the Pens have been playing really solid hockey this season ...and the Leafs have not.
