Kahuuuuuun as advertised! Quick release through an awesome screen. I talked about this yesterday though: the key to getting traffic in front is controlling the puck. You can’t be in the corners digging up pucks and in front of the net at the same time, it has to develop
Let’s give some love to Marino too. Poised at the point with that puck, delays a bit for his teammates and makes a nice pass to Kahun - WSCTeton17
Who would've ever thought Marino would walk right into the NHL? Never expected that. Kid looks so solid too. |

Watching Ron on HNIC without Grapes. Apparently Ron was able to stay on HNIC because he was willing to come clean and apologize and Don was given that opportunity but elected to stick with what he said and he reiterated it again in a public statement: no matter where you’re from you should support the troops who have allowed us our freedoms
I’ve always liked Ron but man he’s taking a ton of heat in Canada right now
Hoping to hear Elliott Friedman and the guys during the 2nd intermission as we all live for the NHL scuttlebutt - WSCTeton17
Jessica Allen is an even bigger clown than cherry. Hypocrits

Idk that I’d ever heard of him until just before the trade because of rumors. What I would say is that I thought his skills were obvious right from the get go. He was brand new to the NHL so a learning curve was to be expected but the skills were there. A couple turnovers, soft at times in front of his own net and on the boards but so good at supporting the play and solid with the puck. Turns out he just needed time to get comfortable
I thought Petts would be better though. His decision making with/without the puck has been slower and it’s allowing gaps to close/open in a hurry |

I saw that! What a dumb thing to say. Like really, could she have painted white hockey players with a bigger brush |

So did Cherry ever actually say something about race? Everyone says what he said was racist but... was he speaking to or about a specific race? Like if he was speaking about immigrants as a whole, what race are the majority of immigrants in Canada? |

Yeah I mean I know about the whole euro hockey hate poop but I hate how loose the definition of racism has gotten these days. People throw that word around so loosely that it loses its meaning. |

Canada is a huge melting pot but a lot of the people coming over are Middle Eastern/Asian but lots of black people as well - I’m not racist so don’t construe this as such. Immigrants often flock to the major port cities and their suburbs. The major port cities are Toronto and Vancouver. If I had to guess I would say East Indian would be the most common
Don lives in Mississauga which is where my former teammate is from (half Jamaican half white decent). Very large middle eastern / black communities. My sister moved there because her son was one of the few black kids at his school in Calgary
So the reason why I explained that is because Don is referencing the ethnic people of color around him who he sees not wearing poppies |

I'm sick of hearing about Don Cherry hahaha....everyone is crying up here... Almost half the people crying about what he said and the other half crying because he was fired haha. Everyone needs to get a grip.
I actually had people on my Facebook trying to get me to sign a petition that I was boycotting Hockey Night in Canada tonight hahaha fvck no I'm not doing that. Pens on HNiC only happens a few times a year and it's a treat. I'm watching 100%. Blow me.
If you're capable of looking at it non-subjectively (free of feeling and bias) you'll know the guy expired over a decade ago. He hasn't been good in a very long time. People are taking his firing personal though .. probably because he'd been a part of their lives almost every Saturday for a long, long time.
