I mean ive turned the leafs off before many of times.

so, the goaltender isn't allow to have a chance to make the save, because he's knocked out of the way....no one is suggesting it should be a penalty to Pittsburgh, because obviously the contact was unintentional...

but unintentional or not - the Pittsburgh player prevented the goalie from having a chance to make the save.

...its the same call as when an opposing player is pushed into the goaltender by a defending player.

Its about who is at fault for the contact. And the person at fault was Muzzin.
