Brian Burke got 4 years and 3 months, but Dubas gets 1 and a half years?
Dubas haters... - Steven_Seagull
not even a bird with a very small brain can be dumb enough to try and argue that Burke's inheritance and Dubas' inheritance are even remotely close.
what did Dubas have on day one?
let's see... Matthews, Marner, Rielly, and tons of CAP space
Burke had Matt Stajan as his #1 Center... I'm not going to bother going any further.

Remember a couple weeks ago some guys were saying “it’s still early, omg you guys are idiots, the corsi says they’re good so they’re obviously good”
And I was like - “ no they aren’t playing well, you can see it”
And they were like - “ LoLzZ oMg wIlLyS zOnE eNtRiEs aRe sO aMaZiNg - zAiTsEv SuCkeD aLoT - hUtCh sUcKs - BaBs sUcKs - dUbAs iS tHe bEsT”
And I was like: “no they just suck, they don’t play phsical enough, they don’t have emotion, they miss Naz.”
Suck it. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Yup. 98 points? I doubt they come close. No first. Only the Leafs could (frank) up a rebuild that looked so promising.

They missed Naz for last year’s playoffs. Wonder what happened. Also the year prior... - Steven_Seagull
So you acknowledge Nas is an integral piece to playoff success? |

Ya..
He’s out of the lineup and they lose.. so maybe learn how to stick up for yourself, so he doesn’t always have to do it. AND MAYBE DONT (frank)ING TRADE HIM!!!!
Faaaack!!! |

You’d think with 4 years and drafting/signing tough physical players, the Leafs wouldn’t have had to fire him for doing such a poopty job.

Sure, when he wasn’t suspended for being a selfish idiot. Twice. |

this is on the players... yes Babcock does some annoying stuff... but Babcock isn't the one is whose routine behind the play or out of position or just plain f__king the dog...
I really feel sorry KK... I hope the Captain comes out and says something about him... 'cause they hung the kid completely out to dry tonight.

It’s a fücking shame..
I didn’t even watch the game, I had to go to TO..
It’s hard because not only do I refuse to cheer for a loser anymore (I’ve paid my dues), but I HATE they way this team plays. It’s horseshït. It’s not the way the Leafs have always played.

Yup. It's partly Babs, but it's a weird team with a totally odd player type mixed together. I know guys want Keith to Berube the Leafs, but let's not forget, the Blues played a solid defensive game, they just needed a tender.
1 d man signed for next season. Folks, it was fun 3 years. |

It's funny too because in the summer guys thought I was out of line for picking the Habs to finish third and having the Queefs in a wildcard. I think even that was being too optimistic. |

nice dodge.... Burke should have been curtailed early.
but you conveniently ignore that fact that Dubas walked into a beautiful situation... completey different than the shyte show Burke inherited.
looking at it another way - in just 18 months Dubas has rid the team of any grit at all, replacing it with a set of players who are virtually identical except for varing degress of talent, small, quick, skilled.
great - the defense is decimated, the back up goaltending situation is a gong show and its all good 'cause the underlying numbers are good.
dude - they are out of a playoff sport, special teams are a farce - and you have zero CAP space to address it.
that's what Dubas has achieved in 18 months. |

I had hoped he would stay. But guys said, he's too slow and useless. I like Ceci at 4.5 instead of Polak at 2 |

Never just go with the flow in here. Always call it how you see it.
The leafs have been dogpoop for 70 games now. It wasn’t a bad assumption to make. |

Oh ya. I criticized Dion. During the shortened season. Guys went mental. It was all Reimer's fault. Then the next year they all realized how poop Phaneuf was. I just don't get the trust they have in Leafs management. It's usually garbage. |

Ghallager wouldn't be giving the goalies the chicken wing. Oh and we would see actual checking in front.
Ceci is in the A next year. Or Europe. |
