late on this...but yes...yet another one
and, I might add, the first of an unsurpassed trio of album greatness:

SO MANY great bands.
LZ is and has been my favorite, followed closely by the Strolling Bones and The Who.
I have also enjoyed lengthy stints with early Genesis (Gabriel), Deep Purple, Yes , Pink Floyd, The Doors, Tom Petty, The Guess Who, Eric Clapton, CSNY, Van Morrison, many, many others.
Now, I enjoy Widespread Panic...such terrific musicians.
Ah, the wonderful world of music
Good memories! |

Or it might be a good time for a loss.
Might actually start to pressure Botterill to do something
Really excited for Jokiharju, who’s been the teams best all around D man to sit tomorrow in the D rotation |

3 - 2 Sabres
What's the deal with Risto and McCabe being our first pairing? And what's the deal with Miller sitting again?
I feel badly for Asplund. How's he going to prove anything with those 2 slug wingers. And Skinner must be over-joyed playing with Erod and Sheary. |

Asplund could score 4 goals tonight and he will be sent down at first opportunity because we’re run like an organization that cares more about 3 years from now than today. |

Oh and Asplund will play 7-9 minutes if he’s lucky because this is the NHL and you can be awful for 300 games and still get ice time as opposed to seeing if a rookie can actually play |

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is (frank)ing fantastic
The first 5 minutes were better than all 4 of the last Star Wars movies COMBINED. |

Eh. Yes absolutely but most of the league does this too |

he's getting pk time...Larsson averaged 11:43 of ice-time ev and 2:28 on the pk...although your point is taken, they have a pretty good idea as to what Asplund has to offer and methinks if all goes well, he'll be in that area time-wise |

My guess is he plays these next two games, doesn’t get enough ice time for anyone to know anything about him, and then we don’t see him the rest of the year.
I hope I’m wrong |

me too...liked what lazar brought last game and hope he can keep it up...I wouldn't expect Asplund to stay with the big club even if he does well...he's getting quality ice-time in Rochester that I believe is really furthering his development |

I'm actually surprised he's playing instead of going 7 D
The optics of benching Miller are bad. The results aren't good either |

I just don't get the love for miller...he's been ok in a lesser role, but struggled in a more predominant role...and, imo, he and dahlin as a pairing was rough |

I think it's a good question. Could he play well enough to force his way into the picture? Hard to imagine ERod's spot is secure, so I'd have to say he has a chance, even if a checking line isn't the greatest opportunity.

I think Miller is like Scandella at his best - a calm, solid d man. Less prone to goofs though, imo. I've enjoyed his presence. He's nothing special though, I agree |

He’s certainly better than a #7, and has been unequivocally better than Jake McCabe this year
Point is we have a guy (three actually, about to be 4 when Bogo is back) capable of NHL minutes while we struggle to score up front.
It just looks bad |

erod had his best game of the year, by far, against Carolina so it at least gave him a reprieve from another night in the pressbox...with a game tomorrow, I'm not going to presume anything...just gonna take it in tonight |

he got bounced by Montour who seems like a much better fit on the second pairing...the third paring is, imo, locked with Scandella/Jokiharju and I highly doubt kreuger breaks up risto/McCabe...
lest we forget, miller was on the top pairing in vegas and eventually was moved down to the third pairing because he wasn't good up there |

Dahlin is making his partner's struggle this year, no matter who it is.
He is gifting possession with turnovers, including blind passes, he needs to settle himself down.
I'd like to see him start carrying the puck more, maybe that would help activate his play better. He just seems so tentative, unsure about anything in his own end. |

I've noticed the team in general, but definitely Dahlin, tend not to make decisive, hard passes and clears out of the zone under pressure. They all make soft reverses and clearing attempts in the d zone. They all need to be harder on the pucks |

Not really expecting it, in what might only be a 1 or 2 game call up. He does have a chance to play his way into the picture soon.

point taken...he looked better last game and am interested to see if that was an anomaly or if he's in the early stages of finding himself |

He was filling in on the top pairing in LV at that time right?
Like Joker did in Chicago.
The Sabres don't have a 1st pairing RhD.
Risto certainly isn't one, and is proving it again now under a 3rd HC.
I get it that he there because they haven't had a better option until Montour came back.
Hopefully, Montour can settle Dahlin down and that pairing can offload minutes from Dumb and Dumber

i think we all expected either him to get multiple calls this season |
