Wish Chytil would shoot it there. Let's be real he's got some offensive skills. Everyone was depending too much on Panarin. Buchnevich with a few gaffes too.

I’m all for giving Quinn time, but most college coaches never succeed. Heck he didn’t win much at the college level either

it's not even a worthy discussion

he is in the 2nd year of a 5 year contract and the team continues to state it's in the rebuild process

ultimately he may prove to be a failure as NHL coach, but he's got waaaaaaaay more time to figure it out

as for the game itself, I thought they played well enough to win, this powerplay is getting very annoying not finishing and Lundqvist gave up two crap goals

When you dont have Kakko or Zib on the PP it hurts tremendously.

Yeah, aside from Chytil and the D-men, that second units Forwards are nothing special out there. (Lemieux and Howden) If you put Kakko and Zib on that unit with Chytil all of a sudden I feel much better about having 2 solid units.

Need to see more from Howden. Haven’t been impressed with his game recently. Not as engaged in the forecheck and winning those battles down low like he was doing last season. He was also tough in front of the net. He needs to get his game in check. Little things that he needs to do in order to be successful he needs to get back to.

Yea I’m not calling for a firing at all, but the same problems at Boston are the same issues with the Rangers. Specifically the defensive problems

Was at the game last night.

The game is almost secondary to the circus like atmosphere in the arena. Liked nothing about the BB&T center, although sight lines were good.

Artemi Panarin is a magician with the puck. Would love to see a RH shot forward with some size and hands on his right wing, guy would fill the net with passes.

Lundqvist was slow To react on 3 of the 4 goals.

I see no reason for Haley to occupy a roster spot.

Patience will be required with the young defense core, but the talent is there, save Skjei who looks flustered.

Winnable game, until Bob slammed the door shut in the 3rd.

I don't mind that arena, I think I have been there like 6 times now

it's just an easy going place, clean, kind of in the middle of nowhere and there is absolutely no electricity, but that's probably more to do with their lack of passionate fanbase than the arena
