I hear ya Jimmy. I just don't want to see any controversies develop in the locker room. You know this is an EXTREMELY young group, and I don't want to see them get distracted by who is in goal.
Having said that, I think Brooks may actually be onto something and I won't be shocked to see Shesty get a brief call-up when we have all of those games in a short time coming up.

The Leafs need a backup in the worst way. One of their few problems right now. I guess most on here don’t watch/stay up for the westcoast game , the Makar is a unreal player. It’s like he’s been around for years. Four assists last night, Avs look good with lots of guys out

it's not even a worthy discussion

he is in the 2nd year of a 5 year contract and the team continues to state it's in the rebuild process

ultimately he may prove to be a failure as NHL coach, but he's got waaaaaaaay more time to figure it out

as for the game itself, I thought they played well enough to win, this powerplay is getting very annoying not finishing and Lundqvist gave up two crap goals

Would still prefer to see Boo than Howden at this point. If Boo doesn't play well enough to stay on Rangers, does anyone think its likely he gets claimed if sent back?
