You saying hes not culpable for this loss or acknowledging he underperformed is asinine. Your comment is generalization, obvious and not pertinent to the specific game situation being discussed

He's not. He was pretty much the entire offense along with Ertz. In the 2nd half, the Eagles didn't effectively run the ball and it was easy to defend for the Patriots knowing all they had to do was double Ertz. That the Eagles were even in the game was due to the defense and Wertz battling. Give the guy some weapons.

Again, it is asinine to think the game came down to one 3 play sequence. The Eagles had 10 straight possessions without scoring.

Quarterback

Carson Wentz: 20/40, 214 YDS, TD

Not Wentz’s best, to say the least. He was off the mark a bunch and took some sacks — five total — several the result of holding the ball too long, and one of which he fumbled to giftwrap three points for the Patriots. Understand, Wentz has only one reliable receiver and his production nosedived after the injury on the offensive line. Still, he missed too many throws the Eagles needed for an opportunity to beat one of the NFL’s best teams.

You posted an opinion. You can't look at all of that and not factor in the situation he was in. No wide receiver options and struggling to score points. Quaterbacks tend to hurry and miss throws when under siege. They tend to hold onto the ball and try to make something happen.

Not on the last drive. He had time. The target was open. He missed. In the most important moment of the game, he came up short, he underperformed.

I can isolate this situation criticize him for this and realize all your obvious points are true and i dont need you to point them out to me. This doesnt mean he will always come up small, but on this occasion he did. You have the inability to hold him accountable for his subpar play.

You keep going back to this and ignoring the fact that I posted this in a previous post.

Yes, you obvious do need me to point it all out for you if you're blaming Wentz for the loss. I know that one of the only reasons they even had a chance in the game is because of Wentz play. That they had a chance to tie the game was due to Wentz play and the defense. To expect more under the circumstances from your QB is unreasonable in my opinion. You have the inability to properly analyze a football game. A football game comes down to more than 3 plays.

Despite those three throws. And I was confounded as anyone how he could miss those 3 in a row...he lobbed a game tying throw on 4th down to the perfect spot hitting his useless receiver in the hands. What would wentz’s story have been then?

I thought he played a B- type game. The guy was handing off to Boston freaking Scott half the time plus this cast of clown receivers. Before he hit arcega on that comeback throw in the 4th the receivers had totaled 22 yards receiving.

One area that was inexcusable on the coaching staff is that Sanders had 4 touches in the 2nd half.

Waive Stewart and call up Frost.

Call me crazy, but I think the team needs to score more goals.

Reports I've read seem to indicate that Frost is not ready for a call up. Does that factor in at all?

They don’t think he’s ready. Don’t screw with the kid and let him work on his game, his laundry, and his dinners

The loss to the Isles was very disappointing. AV has juggled the lineup many times to see what works. I have no idea what he's going to come up with next, but I wouldn't be suprised to see Raffl move up into the lineup at any position including center.

Horrible turnovers and indicision are still plaguing the team.

Having a couple of days to relax (at least with the Flyers in mind...Eagles quite another story) and ponder a bit this is the beginning of the story not the end for this group. Totally new front office, and a very young group of defensemen. Should it surprise that some of the veterans are off to difficult beginnings (read Voracek)...really no. I'm gonna sit back and let it breathe. Thats hard given the recent(?) past without a playoff round win since '11. Thing is there are improvements, Hart has been very good, Farabee shows great promise, Lindblom has been better than we have a right to expect, and although he's cooled some Konecny has been good. My hope is that Sanheim and Provorov continue to improve and become more consistent.
