I'm aware you guys dont follow much college hockey but cornell is now number 2 in the nation. Thay team has a legit shot at the title this year, they are ridiculously good. They also have 8 freshman in the lineup so they are going to be good for a long time

Always leery of ECAC teams being ranked too high since it's not exactly the toughest division in the NCAA, but they're off to a hell of a start. Barron is a Rangers prospect, too.

Yea and hes really good too. We will see how it turns out but seeing them play they are just so fast and relentless this year. They held brown to 4 shots in the 2nd and st Lawrence to 1 in the second of that game.

I think a lot of us actually do follow college hockey. We have talked about it on here for years. I have a group of guys I have gone to the Frozen Four with every year for over a decade. It's a friggin fantastic event.. so is the quarterfinals if you wanted to bring your kid or friend to see some great hockey. This year it's in Albany.

That was so painfully obvious that Wang told Snow to take him (in the 6th (frank)ing round, no less) simply so he could say he drafted the first Chinese-born player in NHL history.

Song managed to post a whopping 1-2-3pts in 100GP in the USHL and has dressed for exactly zero games at Cornell

It absolutely kills me that, not only did they even bother wasting a draft pick on him, but they didn't even use the last pick they had. They took him with a 6th round pick, not a 7th

What rumors? Do you have a source?

Highly doubt the Islanders are trading Pulock or that Calgary would want him heading into a big payday this summer, given their cap situation.

If it's even remotely true, and I'm pretty skeptical of even that, they'd almost surely be trading Gaudreau for picks/high-end prospects and/or young, cheap, controllable NHL players to create some breathing room under the cap.
