Someone posted earlier, "he needs to find another Chris Drury".

Can a Chris Drury type work with two former #2 OA picks and be effective at leading them? Would they respond to a guy like that?

Stop blaming the good players

The poopty players are the problem, and 80% of Botterill's roster is poopty players

They brought in a guy like that in ROR.
I don't know what to believe, but it didn't work out for him here.

Here's what I do know.
I don't want to see any of the following here next season
Risto
McCabe
Sheary
Vesey
Larry
Larry II
Sobotka
Okposo

And the purge needs to start now.
Go get
Josh Anderson
Change of scenery trade for Bennett
Get AA before he really finds his game (he's starting to get up)

This same old BS is getting really fvcking old.

Here’s problem A- the coach doesn’t trust some of the good ones.

He’s relying on bad ones.

Jake McCabe should be shot into the sun, same with Girgensons

They will get more ice time than they should Tuesday

My favorite blunder so far is that this team was too good to let Cozens stick around and see if he could be a factor.

We’re just too good to ever try and ice the best lineup possible

- sbroads24

He should of got his 9 games, but it never hurt anyone to play another year of junior.

Nowhere did I blame the good players.

Guys like Drury and Briere and Grier took control of this team and while the kids were being brought in.

Can a supposed "leader" come into a team that has established high end picks and be as effective, without fear of push back from those guys?

I have my doubts.

Jack is a great player. He's on pace for 98 points. He wears the "C". It's "his" losing team.

I see your point. And I won't cry if all of those players are gone.

However, I can't give up on this year yet.

Guys like drury and brier that were bonafide top 6 players, with grier being a true high end bottom 6 guy

Its a needing more good players problem, not whose wearing the C problem

Sure, but acting like an Dylan Cozens was going to save our season is a little much.

Him dominating Lethbridge, winning a gold medal at the WJC, hitting the weights, and coming into his second camp next year prepared with a d**k full of confidence will help him more.

Agree with this.

Everyone saying Mitts should have started in Rochester. Why do we want to ruin another potential good player by rushing him?

Botts needs to make a move to acquire even an average Center to play the middle so that way Mojo can go back to the wing where he belongs or that we can move Mitts to LW and have him play with someone better.

Whether it’s McCabe+,Scandella+, or Risto someone needs to go. Heck even 2 of those 3 could go and call up Pilut.

It is not.

The Bruins are designed exactly the same.

2 or 3 top guys, a high scoring defenseman, a couple of tweeners and a cast of "who's who"?

But Botterill designed this team, so naturally you hate it.

The problem is not the gm. It's the lack of heart in the dressing room.

Thing is the Bruins have a very good goalie that steals games.

No you did not, but burning a year of his ELC for this poop show I don’t think is a good idea.

I’m all for giving him his 9 games though.

That and their top line has 3 of the best players in the world on it and can’t be stopped.

At this point though might as well throw Skinner-Eichel-Reinhart back together because we can’t score 5v5 regardless so might as well try and get one line that can consistently score.

Botterill is surely hoping cozens can prevent him from forever being known as the guy who traded the stanley cup MVP for nothing

Seriously its on the same level if not worse than risto still playing 24 mins a night for his 3rd GM and how many ever coaches hes had

He's having a better year this year, but the previous 5 seasons his save pct wasn't over 91%.

They play their co¢ks off in front of him. That, imo, is the difference.

I'm so sick of that city.

My point is the Sabres aren’t interested in dressing the best players for their roster.

They aren’t.

And if they are, and this is what they chose, they should be fired

Oh, well, a few Bruins fans said so, so I'm sure it's all true.

All the Sabres goalies since Miller or Rask. I'm taking Rask every time without thinking. And might take him over Miller. Because Rask takes it to the next level in the playoffs. I hate Boston too, but that doesn't mean Rask isn't really good.

He's a great goalie, sure.

I'll take the word of a Bruins fan who watches them every game of every year. He lets in some sh!t goals.

But, OK, I'll take him over Hutton and Ullmark. Not that that's a huge debate.
