Jesus Christ people can be passive aggressive on this board. Frost may not be ideally ready to be called up but circumstances sometime dictate when it happens. Gostibehere anyone? Hart anyone?
For (frank) sake stop being wienerhead trollers and contribute something positive for a change. |

Dave Isaac literally just put out a piece titled "Morgan Frost isn't NHL ready yet". A day later, Frost gets called up. He's gotta be feeling silly.
- Tomahawk
I'm sure this isnt the case, but man it would be hilarious if Fletcher and/or AV saw that article and said (frank) this guy we're calling him up |

I like the way Fletch is willing to call up and send down players. I do think with how they played recently they want the most talented player up, that is Frost. Frost had a chance to play against men, adjust to a faster game and now has a shot.
The players that were sent back down, have had a taste of the NHL, like Myers, they need to go back and use the experience and out grow the AHL.
Now as the season moves on, we need to see less trial and error with call ups.
Look at the scores everyday, teams are winning who shouldn't and team are losing who shouldn't, parody and the NHL. |

Chuckles is grasping at straws. How long till he starts trading picks and players and getting ganked in each and everyone of them as he has in every trade he has ever completed? - corduroy
Yeah, that Gudas trade was a disaster. |

All he has to do is get us through until Laughton comes back in a week or so. If he lights it up, he stays up if he doesn’t, he goes down and we continue to wait for Patrick. |

How do we know Frost goes right to center? Frost should be an upgrade above Twarynski in the top nine. |

I'm with you, only because I feel like I pay more attention to the actual game. There's a lot going on while you're actually there. |

Not that it’s a huge deal but why are they handling twarynski like he should be producing in a top 9 role? He is a 4th liner and I’d like to see him actually put in that role. |

not sure paying Matty N 6.75M this year is a win. If it is than this is the outlier of his trades:

Nisk has been good but retaining salary on top of the more expensive player in a deal is never a good thing. The move was already a cap dump for the division rival capitals. |

Frost up Twarynski sent down...happy to see Frosty with the big club. Twarynski functional as a 4th line wiinger although the advanced stats didn't show that he was a standout. Problem with those stats is that they can't display heart and hustle which has in abundance. Frost and Farabee should be great 1st and 2nd line choices for AV. |

I agree and you hope once they have the top 9 figures out there will be a spot on the 4th for him but the Flyers have a lot of prospects and options for the 4th line. |

GM doesnt do anything to try and solve issues on the team ...He sucks..
GM tries things to help solve the issues on the team ... He is grasping at straws.
If only the FLyers would hire one of the GM's from Flyersbuzz then we would have this all figured out.. lulz.. =) |

Hayes is a guy that will need strong linemates to succeed. He isnt going to be successful offensively playing with a guy like Twarynski. I think there are things in his game he has to clean up as well. Not sure it is related or not but he is holding onto the puck too long, trying to do everything himself and it just leads to an offensive zone turnover.
Seems like a guy who tries to "Be the hero" - xShoot4WarAmpsx
There's things about his game I really like. It just doesn't equate to 7 million dollars. I agree he probably deserves stronger linemates. He can't carry a line by himself. |

Wow, this is a little knee-jerkish don't you think? Lost 3 games in a row 2 of which were shootouts, still in the hunt clearly and also finally not a start where were digging ourselves a hole, and he's grasping at straws? Imagine if JVR/G/Jakes/Hayes all were contributing the way the Coots line was, we'd be top 5 in the league.
Relax, this team will be fine. |

again, have you watched the games? Matt Niskanen has been one of the bright spots in terms of our veterans so far this year. That trade i would do 100/100 times. |
