D pairing tweaks today in Vegas
Rielly-Holl
Muzzin -Ceci
Dermott-Barrie - PatC80
We'll see. Babs being Babs - he's doing it because he's been pressured. There'll be one bad shift, and he'll go back to the way it was and say, "See. I was right.".
Like he did when Muzzin was paired with Rielly. |

Barrie will do well with Dermott I think...One of the main reasons for the switch I think
Muzzin does a much better job raising players games so stick the weak link with him.
Then just throwing a prayer at Rielly. - Santo_44
If Rielly is still injured maybe it's time to give him a bit of time off before it gets worse? Not like the team can do any worse than they have been. |

I say flip barrie out.. find a better rhd that can match up with Muzzin as your shutdown pair.

personally there is ignorance on both ends. boomer and millennial
Snowflake is one of the most ridiculous insults or way to describe a person.
* btw snowflakes are unique and never the same, so to be called one is a term of endearment for me.
Boomers, well this is a blanket statement of stupidity too. Boomers helped pave alot off the ways we have today to express ourselves freely. The poop my dad and mom protested for in the 60s and 70s we take for granted today. They can say that.
*not all boomers are like that as well.
So where does that leave us?
Got old people on the defensive because they are slow to change, and you have young folks that are to spoiled to see how things come to be and that sometimes hard work is needed in order to achieve said goals.
What does that leave us with? a bunch of time wasted listening to 2 short sighted groups of people bicker with lame name calling.
Old people ruined the world, young people get over it and start planning your mad max esq type gang.
Edit: us the babes born between 75 and 83 are the greatest generation anyways. (frank) the rest. |

I think he's earned it.. I'm happy for him.. Maybe Holl will help Rielly? |

Call me when it's in a game.
Also, I agree with Poulin on leafs lunch today. The guys in Vegas should keep an even keel and not party too hard. Fans definitely see these guys losing and cashing huge pay checks and it doesn't look good. I get you want to live your life and you can, but keep it out of the public in these instances. Comes with the territory. - Aaron_85
Good point, I also think now is not the best time to put a huge stack of cash up against your ear while staring out of a hotel room window.. |

Let's hope not. Poulin mentioned the coaching staff going to Tavares and telling the guys to not be seen by the coach unless it's buying lunch at a deli or at practice. Don't be seen partying it up.
Honestly, if there was a reason to win on Saturday and play well Friday it would have been you were about to go on a 3 day trip to Vegas. Play well and you'd have more freedom. |

But to be fair, I think millennials are split down the middle between boomers and GenY.. Most of my millennial friends are eager to prove they’re not softies. Most are actually conservative leaning and aren’t very bright, lol..

Depending on who you talked to, then 9.5 could have been the hometown discount. - Aaron_85
9.5 would make him a quarter million per year richer than Rantanen. Not sure how anyone can argue that as a hometown discount unless they genuinely think Marner is worth 1-1.5 mil more per year than Mikko.
That's just market value at that point. |

If not for the fans, the rookie goalie and his first game, your giant paycheck, self respect...then at LEAST for the mega party you could have in Vegas. |

I agree with you. Everyone in their right mind saw he was overpaid. What's crazy was all the bridge deals I saw come out after. Yes those teams just kicked the can down the road but at least they have cap flexibility for the time being. |

the biggest trends to deal with is getting the young kids to stop doing what their parents did. I would have to listen to people i work with in Alberta in the 90s and 00's talk about the fact they do blind voting... they voted what their parents always have, because well thats the things to do. They voted conservative.. and voted to basically tank their province. Now look, everyone in Alberta is blaming everyone else but themselves... (frank)ing idiots.
Here in Quebec, young people would vote block or PQ because of the same stupid reasons... now look we got another (frank)ing block in power. As much as their leader is bright, and he is, he is a very smart man, his party is still passer. People are just to lazy or scared to be themselves and do whats right. Talking against preset narratives or following preset paths are why we have a world the way it is today.

Even on a bridge deal the number that kept coming up in the media was around 10 mil per.
He Richarded the (frank) out of the leafs, plain and simple. Which at the end of the day, if he is genuine about never wanting to play anywhere else, I think he inserted a bullet into his own foot just to make sure he could go from filthy rich to moderately filthy richer. |

9.5m would should have been high-end of market value.
but, supposedly, we have all this power because we can pay signing bonsues like it's going out of style.
but we also like to pay our rfa's extra, on top of getting max bonuses.
Shouldn't have we got our rfa's to sign for less because of money up front, buyout protection, lockout protection?
Or did dubas just give those things away for free during negotiations? |
