very costly indeed.....Byron was having a rocky start but his D on penalty kills and his speed in the O zone are nice assets hard to duplicate...maybe Jake Evans?...Hudon is not the answer...hasn't been so far...

Jake Evans is having a slow start in the AHL this season. They said they don't need to call up anybody for the time being anyway.

My guess is that Matthew Peca would be next in line.

Peca and his 5 points?

Before Belzile?

before, after, who cares. they have many they can call up. but none will have an impact on the team. for that they need guys like Domi, KK, Armia and Lek to step up

I'm not too worried about Domi.

Just playing with Suzuki should help him plenty.

And I think it's important to call up the guys that can actually help this team.

I don't feel like Peca fits in that category.

I never said that.

But if I had to choose between the two, yeah, i'd rather have Hudon.

At least Hudon can hit even if he's small.

Peca, well...I'm not exactly sure what he does.

Belzile would deserve a call-up at this point.

EDIT: Even Lukas Vejdemo is having a pretty good season.

Vejdemo would be my choice. Good start of the season, two way forward so you know he's not as likely to make a mistake and get benched and Cousins finishes with 22 minutes on ice.

But he's a center, don't know how suited he is to the wings.
