Can't win a faceoff. Can't win a race to the puck. Can't clear the zone. They're lucky it's only 1-0.

There is no control of the puck at all. I know CAR likes to pressure the puck, but they are just trying too many cute plays to get out of the zone and a lot of guys are flat footed.

Shaw has been disappointing since coming back.

I'm normally not one for personal attacks, but Lazerus is just unbearable. I'm sad that he joined the Athletic. He tries so hard to be clever and hip at the same time. This may have something to do with how crap that period of hockey was, but...

Agree about Shaw. He hasn't contributed much this year. Could see him traded again in the next year or two to free up some cap space and make room for a youngster like Entwistle or Kurashev.
