How’s this:

They are a bubble team - not as good as the top-10 teams in the league (like Carolina), but able to hold their own with the rest and win when playing well.

The key will be to play well often enough against the other 20 teams to get into the tournament. Lehner and Crawford will keep them in most of those.

That sums it up pretty well. No sense getting too high or too low. Carolina is all over them, getting sticks in the passing lanes and forcing them to make decisions before they want to. Sometimes you just get outplayed.

Yep didn’t show up for 3/4 the game but that no call is complete poop. That’s one of the most dangerous plays in hockey. Kane didn’t go down easy either. That’s a cross check in the middle of the back 5 feet from the boards that put Kane right into the boards.

Bc there is 50 secs left it’s a no call. Reason #1 the NHL officiating sucks.

Night, man. And I agree. Great to see some pushback!

That missed penalty on Kane at the end was egregious. Can’t miss that if you’re a professional ref. That was textbook and gets called 99% of the time.

If the refs don't take Aho off the ice in the final minute, then the players should. BrindAmour lucky they weren't down 2 men in that final minute.
