Gilbert & Koekkoek both have a better 5v5 high danger %, but a worse 5v5 goal share:

Gilbert 1 for, 4 against; 47.83% HDCF (really small sample size)
Koekkoek 6 for, 9 against; 45.10% HDCF

Of the 3, I'd play Gilbert, plus as young as he is, he has way more upside than either.

Thanks, i would play Gilbert over Koekkoek everyday and twice on Tuesday, but for now i would keep Maata and let Gilbert keep playing in AHL. Whatever the fancy stats say the eye test for me says Maata is much better dmen than ther other 2 right now.

I think it is just more skilled guys too. Teams have 3 lines that can score goals. 4th line guys need to have skill now. They aren't just bruisers looking to pound players in the boards. Everyone can skate now too.

My Dad was at that game. I was in our yard shooting hoops while listening on the radio. A whole bunch of went to Petricca's to watch the end of the game on closed circuit and join in the celebration. I was crushed when that game ended. My cousin and I were taking off school the next day, etc. Needless to say, I was not happy at school that day.

Smith is decent compared to plugs on many 4th lines in the 2010 NHL. Definitely still a lot of slower defensemen!

He’s a more consistent Perlini - skater, some size, should have been in the AHL instead of New York and then Phoenix at 19 and 20 - he may turn out to be a consistent 20/40 guy. He may not.

At the time, I wanted them to give him more of a chance. Of course, 5 teams now have given him a chance....

Perlini, on the other hand, is tearing it up in Motown - 0+1=1 in 9 games (12 minutes per).
