I'd be willing to give up more than you do to take a chance on him.

Lehkonen, Brook + 2nd.

Well if I'm Mr. Holland, and you want my first round pick, I'd ask for a minimum of yours + in return.

Don't think he's worth that much.

Puljujarvi is still a big gamble, don't think they'll get a first for him. Especially not from a team that could miss the playoffs.

Have you looked at the Wings since 2008?

Can you imagine if they didn't got lucky with Zetterberg and Datsyuk?

It's hard to guess what the ballpark is for them.

But if Vegas got a 2nd and a 3rd for Gusev, you gotta guess at least that?

The reason I *don't* see the Habs swinging for Puljujarvi is simply that he lacks "CHaracter". The Habs aren't a flashy team, they're a lunchbox team. Do they really want a primadonna, me first type? They got rid of PK for that reason.

is he though? Not wanting to play for the Oilers doesn't necessarily mean he's a douche or a cry baby...

Whether it's real or not, holding out will follow you. Just ask Drouin.

I feel like trading for Drouin is still looking pretty good for us these days.

Players can mature, they can improve.... but when a talent like Drouin or Puljujarvi comes along and is available.... you gotta at least consider it.

Probably why it should affect his value. There must be a reason no team has traded for him yet though.

Yup. Habs were doing horribly, and I honestly the move for Drouin was half "hoping the hype is real", and half appeasing the francophone audience who wanted more representation.

Adding another player that young to the lineup would probably give a nervous breakdown to Claude.

the best thing he has going for him imo, more than his draft rank or his potential, it's the fact that he's a finn. Habs loves their finns

Pullmyjujarvi does have a slightly better excuse than Drouin, since playing in Edmonton doesn't sound too enticing, but I know what you mean.
