Did WGR bring up McCabe Risto or did they cower out of that one. - TheSabresTaco

This summer we need to have NJ off season. Shuffle out good players for different good players. It's becoming clear a new batch of guys is required, top to bottom. - TheSabresTaco
It wasn't at least somewhat clear this past offseason?
Also, that batch of good players being shuffled out may include Reinhart. |

this coach is not working
the team is worse each day
none of the young guys ,aside from joker are getting any better
it's obvious now we have a rookie gm and an inexperienced head coach - homiedclown
Babcock isn't working in Toronto, either.
Either the players buy in, or they don't.
When are the players going to be held accountable? |

Yeah, I was harsh, but I can see the writing on the wall that he’s definitely not the big time goal scorer we thought he was.
I’d consider selling high if a team thinks he is.
I mean he’s in his mid-twenties already - sbroads24
I think hes a better all around offensive player than i was expecting |

Yup. No coach or gm will throw their teams under the bus on the radio or to the media.
Interviews now a days are so boring. It’s just coach or player speak. Basic generic answers. |

Click the link I shared last page about Ray and Dreger talking Babcock and the Leafs. Compare that to the Sabres re: Ralph asking Dahlin to sacrifice offense, and the change in style of play the Blackhawks made which has helped them catch fire. |

100% agree all interviews are snowball cake Q & A. Anyone of us could conduct their interviews.
Thats why I love the Washington State mEdia with Mike Leach they ask him things like rank the Pac 10 teams mascots on who would win in a fight. There are some absolute gems out there. |

We will be a better team the second Ristolainen is no longer treated as the #1.
I can’t even fathom thinking otherwise anymore - sbroads24
We'll be a better team when we find a GM that actually adds talent to this team, Botts is a horrible GM. Been saying it for over a year now. here we are again, we are years away.

that why you have to start moving out the guys that aren't, no matter who they are. But the Coach and GM suck. and the owners are (frank)ing clueless.... Hire a president that actually know how to build a team. Los Vegas coming into the leagues and is way better than us....WTF.

Please go sign the assistant pro personnel development guy from Tampa and put him in charge of that here.
The Sabres suck at developing players. |

I don't mind that they ignore the outside noise. In fact, they should.
The problem is that what is glaringly obvious to the outside noise should also be crystal clear internally, and apparently, it's not. |

Botts yesterday per Hamilton said that they can’t trade the depth in D.
They have 3 dmen in Rochester they can call up currently.
But his whole we need Rochester to be good, so we can’t touch it is maddening. - ImThatGuy

"Botterill continues to draft well and fumble things at the NHL level. It's hard to fathom why Colin Miller and now Marco Scandella are in the press box taking up millions of cap space. Jimmy Vesey has exactly no goals, and I can guarantee you Jason Pominville or Thomas Vanek would have been more productive.
It was Botterill who foolishly re-signed both Zemgus Girgensons and Johan Larsson, which was not necessary. One or the other would have been fine. Walking away from both would have been fine, too.
Eichel should sue for nonsupport. He's got five of the team's last six goals."

I disagree with the Gus and Larson part the rest I do agree with you. They make what 4th liners should make...... now another contract would be way more than they are worth.
He can get role players but clearly he cant find or acquire high end talent |

That was Mike Harrington, not me
Here's more:
"Perhaps the night's coup de grace came late in the second period. You know that fan with the shrill, huge pipes for a voice we've heard near the press box over the years in the Section 316-317 area?
Yeah, the one who trademarked "Firrrrre Re-gieeeeeerr" and "Make a moooove, Murrrrrrrr-ay." Well, he came up with a new one with a nod to the times Tuesday night, and the current GM is in his crosshairs.
At a perfectly quiet moment, we got "Im-peeeeeeeach Bot-ter-illllllllll."
Sure seems like last year around here again. And, in fact, a lot of last years." |

Tip my hat to Harrington on this, every time I watch the Sabres I cringe thinking Clown bought nhl.tv or center ice to watch them.
It’s ok clown your biography movie crushed it..it isn’t a tragedy it’s a comedy |
