This is a good point ...... botts going Darcy regier 2.0 while another season is slipping away is completely unacceptable

This has an even worse feeling than when Darcy held on to the crap mediocre team he had for too long and wouldn't shake up Connolly, Roy, Pominville, Vanek until their contracts were up or Connolly got injured and they just weren't good enough. Now, we have the owner with the f*cking money and we have a GM who holds on to our core which does squat here. Put Reinhart and Risto together as part of a package to get something special.

Thank you for having the cashews to admit what i've been saying for the last 2.5 years +/-. I wish i could say i feel vindicated, but it doesn't feel good being right about knowing this effin GM was a total putz given the severe brain damage he's done to this organization. Conn Smythe Selke winner for Super Sniper Tage Thompson. I'll never be able to get over that. He (frank)ed this team up so badly.

That's why I think it makes sense to fire Botterill now.

-Allow Krueger to operate the team on an interim basis so he can best identify the talent that fits his vision

- let him lead the the GM search with the vision of Krueger assuming the VP of personnel or president role within 3-5 years

He'd be picking his current boss with the knowledge that he'll oversee the operation and train the future head coach. It's an eye toward the future approach
