I had the lasagna.

Airplane (the movie) jokes aside, until Edmonton wins a cup with Drai riding shotgun to McJesus, I will not regret us getting Reinhart.

As for our team, I fully expect as many downs as ups this year but our window should start to crack open next year, and if JB doesn't panic we should be built to compete for several years.

BUT, Mitts so far is a huge disappointment to me. Keep Asplund up, trade for another usable center, and put Mitts and Mojo on the wings for this year.

Sam riding Eichel too, difference is Leon will win a Rocket Richard trophy riding McJesus. Maybe a hart trophy too

Hey Rapper,
IMO, the successful organizations realize a balance of skill and heart is optimal.
Too much reliance on high skills can reveal a soft underbelly.
Too much heart is great, yet skill is necessary to produce.
The Sabres have yet to construct their roster with players who have both.
Eichel displayed it over the past several games. Sam jumps in, pushes back, doesn't backdown.

The game the other night is proof. The impact on the team from Jack's fight lasted about 10 minutes of play. After that, the boys settled back into a comfortable collect my paycheck style of play.

Yes. Sorry to inform you of this, we though EK had sent you a Skype request last night.
You were traded to the LA Kings Blog.

Your first order of business is to find a blogger for the LA Kiings.

Zucker is good no doubt. Plays LW.
Is LW really a position of critical need?
Ya, he would be the 2nd best LW on the team, but would he be so much better over Mojo that it would be worth the assets to acquire him? In this regard, I think the net value to the Sabres would be considerably lower than obtaining a 2C.

I'd rather they target Mikko Koivu for less assets that it would take to secure Zucker.
Re-sign him in the offseason for a Stahl type contract, or incentive laden contract for a year or 2.
He could teach Casey and Cozens the art of playing 2C in the NHL. A virtual coach on the ice 100% of the time with one of both of them.

Any good player is a need, but I do like your idea
