I really don't think it makes a difference, neither guy is being inserted because of their offensive skill. There is equal likelihood of either guy contributing points at the NHL level.

If this was about points, Philips, Gawdin or god help him, Rieder would still be up here.

Tre and Peters are sending a message tonight - if Rinaldo doesn't start something, I would be absolutely stunned. He knows what he's up here for, and hopefully, unlike Prout last year, he follows through.

We all know the point of Lucic was to get rid of Neal... and he's banging and crashing and giving us an element of what we lacked last year for sure, which is pure intimidation. If Rinaldo stays put and plays 50+ games for us, I'd be worried. He's not, this isn't a big deal - it was going to happen at some point, so why not when you're at a theoretical low point?

The James Neal trade is killing you guys, not on the ice but mentally. How can a cull like Neal end up thriving two hours away? I despise Neal as much as you Flames fans do but something is very wrong in Calgary. The talent is there for sure but the results appear to be like a flame out, no pun intended.

Pouty boy Neal isn't in the minds of Flames fans let alone the Flames players. Lucic has done exactly what has been asked of him. He's a $5 million dollar enforcer, it is what it is.

These last two games broke me. Haven't yelled at the T.V in a couple of years, but those games were pathetic. It's like nobody wants to do the heavy lifting.
