I give the boys till Saturday if they loose against the flyers. Petters is done - pzoxic
Peters will not be fired before Treliving. Point blank |

These last two games broke me. Haven't yelled at the T.V in a couple of years, but those games were pathetic. It's like nobody wants to do the heavy lifting.
If I have to keep watching players lazily poke the puck towards a teammate instead of going in and winning the (frank)ing puck battle I'm going to lose my god damned mind
WE AREN'T A SKILLED TEAM. We are a hard working team that has a some skill. The whole team needs to buy in and start working. Other teams aren't just going to hand us (frank)ing wins - Saskabush
After watching the game against the Avs closely I agree with this. They were fortunate to be in the game with under 5 minutes to go. This team doesnt need a trade or a shakeup, they need some give-a-hoot. To their credit, Looch and Ryan did exert that effort more than the rest of the squad, but it also exposes the star players when the grinders are generating more offense than you. |

And I have no idea why.
The same thing was said with him and Ron Francis. I do not understand where this level of loyalty for this coach comes from.
That said, yeah Treliving (frank)ed up. |

The idea of trading Gaudreau to me only makes sense for one reason and that is if he makes it to his UFA year, I see him pulling a JT and bolt for home. That will be something potentially dealt with during a future offseason, not mid year or anytime soon. |

About the only bright spot is the Looch Ryan combo starting to show some chemistry. The top line is completely MIA now and this team goes nowhere until they figure something out. Monahan looks especially lost right now. |

I would just like to see some accountability from the top players. Don't want to play for the team or the coach, say it. I always figured that the players on the team during the last lock out ended up hating Edwards. I though Jarome blocking the trade to Boston was his way of giving a big GFY to Edwards.
Anyways, I would like to see some youth bought and ALL players being held accountable. If you are not going to give 100% you can ride the pine. Do not care if we lose games because we do not have what we consider our "best" players out on the ice. Just want to see some heart and effort. |

Not everyone wants to play at home. If this team stinks, then ya, I'm guessing he'll want out...or maybe he just wants to get paid, who knows. |

Trying to justify that his team lost the trade? - Clyde334
Hamilton has 23 points in 21 games this year so far. Lindy and Hanifin have 24 combined in 24 games.
Nah. Overall it worked out pretty well for everyone involved I'd say.
Thus far it's turned into:
Elias Lindholm
Noah Hanifin
for
Dougie Hamilton
1 year of Micheal Ferland
Jamieson Rees (31 points in 14 games for Sarnia this year)
Anttoni Honka
Conditional 3rd (will be a 2nd round pick) |

If we are trading Johnny cuz he doesn’t want to stay in cgy then Ottawa would be crazy to think he would stay there lol |

Well, sure, if that's the reason we're trading him - though it gets him a lot closer to home if we presume that that's his endgame.
If it's a pure hockey deal, then it's a little different. I don't see why Ottawa would make that kind of move anyways, but Johnny's gotta be the ask one would think if Tre inquired on Brady.

It's funny reading different folks take on the game. I thought Mony's line looked OK (not good enough yet but OK), but Jesus, Johnny's line looked like franking poope. Check out how many double-digit negative +/- players we have. |
